2. Bundesliga
Thomas Ouwejan, Marius Bülter and Marcin Kaminski scored the goals as Schalke made it four wins on the bounce with a 3-0 victory at home to Dynamo Dresden.
Schalke 3-0 Dynamo Dresden
Goals: 1-0 Ouwejan (20’), 2-0 Bülter (78’), 3-0 Kaminski (90'+4)
Visiting Dresden refused to allow themselves to be intimidated in front of a full house at the Veltins-Arena and took the game to Schalke. The hosts responded with a couple of strong chances and eventually took the lead after 20 minutes. Dresden keeper Kevin Broll spilled the ball in front of goal, forcing Yannick Stark to try to clear, only to see Ouwejan charge in, stretch out a leg, and direct the ball into the bottom corner. The Royal Blues held onto their lead and returned to the dressing room with the score at 1-0.
In the second half, Dresden had more possession and worked patiently to get an equaliser. Substitute Pascal Sohm had an excellent chance when he directed a header towards goal, only to see Martin Fraisl react brilliantly to turn it away. The Schalke keeper produced a series of excellent saves to repel wave after wave of attacks from the visitors. At the other end, Bülter took it upon himself to make the result safe, rising high to redirect Ouwejan’s corner into the net with his head. The icing on the cake came deep into added time when Kaminski headed in a third as Schalke climbed to second in the table.

Matchday 11 round-up
Paderborn 1-2 Hamburg
Goals: 0-1 Heyer (5'), 1-1 Platte (38'), 1-2 Doyle (90+4')
The visitors flew out the traps with Moritz Heyer's fifth-minute strike from the edge of the box, until Felix Platte returned the favour before the break. Hamburg would eventually take all three points back to north Germany thanks to on-loan England youth international Tommy Doyle. The 20-year-old - a 90th-minute substitute - grabbed a dramatic first goal for the club with a stunning curled finish four minutes into injury-time.
Watch: Doyle's late strike wins it for HSV
Erzgebirge Aue 1-0 Ingolstadt
Goals: 1-0 Sijaric (62')
Red card: Fandrich (89')
The bottom two met on Matchday 11, with Aue claiming a much needed first win of the season to leapfrog Ingolstadt and climb of the foot of the table. Omar Sijaric was the man who got the winner just after an hour in with his first goal of the campaign and the hosts managed to hold on despite losing Clemens Fandrich in the final moments.
Holstein Kiel 1-1 Darmstadt
Goals: 1-0 Mühling (37'), 1-1 Pfeiffer (41')
The hosts went a goal to the good courtesy of Alexander Mühling's second goal of the season, but their lead lasted just four minutes. On-loan Darmstadt striker Luca Pfeiffer pulled his side level with his eighth goal in 10 league appearances, and fifth in his last three games. The visitors were unable to chalk up a third successive victory, though, and had to settle for a point.
Fortuna Düsseldorf 3-1 Karlsruhe
Goals: 1-0 Heise (o.g. 10'), 1-1 Wanitzek (22'), 2-1 Klarer (51'), 3-1 Narey (62')
Düsseldorf quickly set the course for victory thanks to Philip Heise's own-goal after just 10 minutes but were pegged back midway through the first half as Marvin Wanitzek superbly fired home from 22-yards out. A frantic ping-pong contest ensued in the Karlsruhe box in the 51st-minute, with the hosts striking the woodwork twice before Christoph Klarer eventually stabbed home to regain the lead. Alex Narey then sealed all three points with less than half an hour to play as Fortuna moved into the top-half.
Nuremberg 4-0 Heidenheim
Goals: 1-0 Daehli (45'), 2-0 Shuranov (52'), 3-0 Geis (66'), 4-0 Malone (o.g. 89')
Nuremberg remain the only unbeaten side in the second division, courtesy of a fifth win of the campaign and second victory in succession. Mats Moller Daehli's put the hosts ahead on the stroke of half-time as the Norway international swept home a stunning first goal for the club since joining on-loan in the summer. The home side brushed Heidenheim in the second period, with Erik Shuranov, Johannes Geis and a Maurice Malone own-goal completing a 4-0 rout. The result leaves Nuremberg just four points off top spot.
St. Pauli 4-0 Hansa Rostock
Goals: 1-0 Irvine (12'), 2-0 Kyereh (18'), 3-0 Burgstaller (62'), 4-0 Makienok (78')
The league leaders raced out of the traps and took less than 20 minutes to take a two-goal lead that all-but ended Rostock's challenge before it got started. Jackson Irvine was the man that opened the scoring before Daniel-Kofi Kyereh's perfectly guided header made it 2-0. Guido Burgstaller added a third shortly after the hour mark and Simon Makienok grabbed the fourth as St. Pauli ensured that their three-point lead at the top of the table remained intact.
Jahn Regensburg 3-1 Hannover
Goals: 1-0 Singh (17'), 2-0 Boukhalfa (22'), 2-1 Kerk (54'), 3-1 Zwarts (90+2')
Regensburg were given the perfect start by in-form Bayern Munich loanee Sarpreet Singh, who bagged his third league goal of the campaign just 17 minutes in. Carlo Boukhalfa doubled his side's advantage as Hannover goalkeeper Martin Hansen got himself caught under a looping ball on his line and couldn't prevent Boukhalfa from tapping home as both 'keeper and ball ended up in the back of the net. Sebastian Kerk did pull a goal back in the second-half, but it was little consolation as Joël Zwarts made sure of victory in injury time.
Sandhausen 2-2 Werder Bremen
Goals: 0-1 Rapp (12'), 1-1 Testroet (29'), 2-1 Testroet (84'), 2-2 Füllkrug (90+2')
Nicolai Rapp's second of the season had Werder in front early on but Sandhausen pegged the visitors back - all within the first half hour. Pascal Testroet was the man with the equaliser, with the 31-year-old marking just his second start of the campaign with his second goal. Testroet completed a superb turnaround for the hosts with six minutes to play, and thought he'd grabbed all three points for his side until Niclas Füllkrug rescued a point for Werder in the dying embers.
