The Bundesliga season may only be 10 games old, but numerous records have already been set – and shattered – in the opening months of 2025/26. We crunch the numbers on the campaign so far…

1 Bayern Munich have topped the table on each of the last 42 matchdays. With a six-point cushion over second-paced RB Leipzig, they are guaranteed to equal the Bundesliga record of 43 successive matchdays at the top of the pile – set by Bayern in 1971/72 – on Matchday 11.

Freiburg goalkeeper Noah Atubolu has saved his last five penalties in Germany’s top flight – a new Bundesliga record.

5Can Uzun is the first teenager in Eintracht Frankfurt’s history to score in each of the Eagles’ first five league encounters.

10  Frankfurt’s 6-4 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach was the highest-scoring Bundesliga game in over 12 years, since Bayern’s 9-2 triumph over Hamburg in March 2013.

11 Union Berlin forward Oliver Burke scored his ninth, 10th and 11th Bundesliga goals in Die Eisernen’s 4-3 victory at Eintracht on Matchday 4, lifting him above Alan McInally as the highest-scoring Scotsman in Bundesliga history.

14 Jakub Kamiński scored 14 minutes into injury time to salvage a point for Cologne against parent club Wolfsburg on Matchday 3 – the latest goal in Bundesliga history.

18 Harry Kane’s penalty against Werder Bremen on Matchday 5 stretched the England captain’s run of successful spot-kicks to 18, surpassing the previous Bundesliga record held by Hans-Jörg Butt and Robert Lewandowski.

24 – Twenty-four of the 289 goals in the Bundesliga this season have been scored by teenagers, the highest tally ever at this stage of a campaign.

28 Bayern have picked up 28 points from a possible 30 so far this season. Only once before – when they had maximum points under Pep Guardiola in 2015/16 – have they had more on the board at this stage of a season.

37  Bayer Leverkusen’s 3-0 reverse in Munich on Matchday 9 ended Die Werkself’s record Bundesliga run of 37 away games without defeat.

69 Patrik Schick became Leverkusen’s joint record foreign goalscorer when he found the net against Heidenheim on Matchday 10. The Czechia international is now on 69 league goals for the club, level with Dimitar Berbatov.

75 Bayern striker Kane scored his 75th Bundesliga goal on his 73rd appearance on Matchday 10, beating club legend Gerd Müller’s previous top-flight record (75 goals in his first 108 games) by an entire season.

234 – Leipzig defender Willi Orbán made his 234th Bundesliga appearance for the club against Augsburg on Matchday 8, moving him above Yussuf Poulsen in the Saxony outfit’s all-time appearance list. Only goalkeeper Péter Gulácsi has played more games for Leipzig in the top flight.
