Bayern Munich's Canadian wing-back Alphonso Davies has been named CONCACAF Player of the Year for the second year running.
Davies, who won the prize for the first time in 2021, has once again been named as the best player from the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF).
“It’s a real honour to be named the CONCACAF Player of the Year,” said Davies. “There are so many excellent players across the CONCACAF region and to be named as the best is amazing for me.
“I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of my teammates. This puts a smile on my face and drives me to keep on fighting for our goals.”
The vote was made by all of the national team coaches and captains of the federation, counting for 41 votes, with a further 18 votes coming from nine selected media representatives and an online vote for fans.
