Canada international Alphonso Davies will join Bayern Munich on their summer tour of the USA this month after all, reversing an initial decision not to travel with the squad following his Gold Cup commitments in June.
The 18-year-old, who signed on with Niko Kovac's charges from the Vancouver Whitecaps during the winter break in January, is currently on holiday after helping The Canucks reach the quarter-finals of the CONCACAF zone tournament, where they lost 3-2 to Haiti.
The winger was not expected to participate in the club's pre-season tour of the US, with the reigning Bundesliga champions set to depart Munich for Los Angeles on Monday morning, but he will now meet up with the rest of the squad in California on Tuesday.
Bayern face Arsenal in an International Champions Cup fixture on Wednesday, before meeting Real Madrid in Houston (20 July) and AC Milan in Kansas City (23 July) in the same competition.
Davies' inclusion in the squad means that new signing Lucas Hernandez is the only first-team member to be absent, as the French World Cup winner will remain in Munich to continue his rehabilitation following knee surgery.
