Key stats
Signing for Leverkusen from Toulouse in August 2021, Adli arrived in the Bundesliga as a France U21 international with immense promise, having previously been named Ligue 2's Player of the Season.
A very first Bundesliga goal soon arrived in November 2021, with Adli netting the match winner for Bayer 04 in a 1-0 victory against Bochum.
He would go on to make just over 50 German top-flight appearances in the first two of what would eventually become four seasons at the BayArena. However, it was in Leverkusen's 2023/24 double-winning campaign that the wing wizard would really come to the fore.
Not only did Adli play an important role in former B04 coach Xabi Alonso's all-conquering team that won a club-first Bundesliga title as the only team ever to go unbeaten in the division, the Béziers-born star also shone in the DFB Cup.
Adli was the tournament's top scorer with five goals that campaign as Bayer swept to final glory against Kaiserslautern to complete an unforgettable double.

Formerly a former France U21 international, Adli opted to represent Morocco at senior level, debuting in September 2023.
He left Leverkusen for Bournemouth in August 2025 after making 143 appearances while scoring 23 goals and providing 25 assists for the Werkself.
Plays a bit like: Moussa Diaby
A high-speed forward comfortable flying down his natural left-hand side or cutting in off the opposite flank, Adli is a very similar type of player to another ex-Leverkusen teammate and counter-attack maestro Moussa Diaby, currently at Al-Ittihad.
Did you know?
Adli is best buds with ex Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Manu Kone, the duo having climbed the ranks together at Toulouse. They were reunited in the blue of France at the 2023 U21 Euros, before Leverkusen star switched allegiances and turned out for Morocco.
