Sunday's Matchday 20 meeting between Arminia Bielefeld and Werder Bremen has been called off due to heavy snowfall.
The match was scheduled to kick-off at 5pm GMT at Bielefeld's SchücoArena, but sub-zero conditions coupled with heavy and persistent snow led the Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL), in consultation with the two clubs and match officials, to postpone the match on safety grounds.
Details of the rearranged fixture will be announced in the coming weeks, the DFL have confirmed.
Promoted Bielefeld are 16th in the standings, but would have moved out of the relegation play-off spot with a positive result. Bremen are five points better off in mid-table, after 19 rounds of fixtures.
It is the 389th cancellation of a Bundesliga match since the league's founding in 1963.
Hoffenheim's clash with Eintracht Frankfurt (2.30pm GMT) is scheduled to go ahead as planned, however.
NOTE: As a result of the fixture being postponed, any players from those teams in your Official Fantasy Bundesliga side will be awarded the average number of points that they have acquired so far in the campaign. Make sure you put any players in your starting line-up before the original kick-off time as usual, or else the points will not count.
