Harry Kane is likely to be fit in time for Bayern Munich's trip to Aston Villa in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
Latest
Kane was subbed off a few minutes from time in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Bayer Leverkusen, the England captain left clutching his ankle after a collision with Amine Adli.
However the England captain, who has 54 goals in 52 games since swapping Tottenham Hotspur for Bayern at the start of last season, doesn't expect to be out for long.
"It was painful, but it's not too bad," he said after the game, in which Robert Andrich and Aleksandar Pavlović exchanged goals. "We'll investigate it further tomorrow, but I expect that I'll be able to play against Aston Villa."
Bayern travel to Birmingham on Wednesday for their second game under the new-look Champions League format. They won their opener against Dinamo Zagreb 9-2, with Kane scoring four.
