Watch: Bayern presented with 2021/22 Bundesliga title

Bayern Munich were presented with the 2021/22 Bundesliga title at the end of their 2-2 draw with VfB Stuttgart on Matchday 33.

Bayern secured the title a fortnight ago, with victory over runners-up Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker, but as is tradition had to wait until their last home outing of the season to receive the prize.

"The hunger in this team is always top," Alphonso Davies, a four-time Bundesliga winner at the age of 21, told bundesliga.com after the medal ceremony at a sold-out Allianz Arena.

"Each and every one, we fight for it and work hard for it. You see the stats, it's 10 in a row, but it's not easy."

That's putting it mildly. No other team in one of Europe's top five divisions (England, Spain, Germany, Italy and France) has won 10 league titles in a row. The 2021/22 prize is also Bayern's record-extending 31st title of the Bundesliga era.

"The feeling is always the same," admitted Thomas Müller, who won his first of a record 11 Bundesliga titles to date in 2009/10. "You're reaping the reward of hard work. Everything else is positive emotions."

Müller marked his first outing since penning a new contract at Bayern with his 127th Bundesliga goal, putting him level 20th in the all-time league scoring charts, alongside Uwe Seeler.

Bayern go into their final game, away to 13th-placed Wolfsburg, on 95 team goals. They need to score six to equal their single-season record haul of 101 (1971/72).
