The injury is the latest in a series of setbacks for Pavlović, who made his first-team debut for Bayern in October 2023 and swiftly became part of the senior set-up.
He was forced to postpone his Germany debut and missed out on UEFA EURO 2024 on home turf due to tonsilitis, and also suffered a broken collarbone in November last year.
Bayern have not yet given a timeline on when Pavlović will be able to return.
