Bayern Munich defenders Alphonso Davies and Hiroki Ito are back in the gym following respective knee and foot surgeries.
Davies has been on the sidelines since tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee on international duty with Canada in March, while Ito suffered a recurrence of a fracture in his right metatarsal during Bayern's 3-2 win over St. Pauli at the end of the same month.
The duo are making steady progress in their recoveries, though, after enjoying a productive strength and conditioning session at Bayern's Säbener Straße training complex on 11 July.
If all goes to plan, Davies could be back in first-team action at the end of October, but Ito is unlikely to be available again to head coach Vincent Kompany until November.
Bayern are currently on a three-week break after exiting the FIFA Club World Cup at the quarter-final stage following a 2-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain, in which star playmaker Jamal Musiala suffered a leg fracture and dislocated ankle that is expected to keep him out for at least four months.
The defending Bundesliga champions, who commence pre-season training at the end of July, face DFB Cup holders VfB Stuttgart in the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup on 16 August, in their first competitive outing of 2025/26. They begin their Bundesliga title defence at home to RB Leipzig six days later on Friday, 22 August.
