Benjamin Pavard on life at 100
Ahead of making his 100th appearance for Bayern Munich, Benjamin Pavard has been reflecting on his time at the club so far.
A FIFA World Cup winner with France in 2018, Pavard swapped VfB Stuttgart for Bayern Munich 12 months later following three highly impressive years at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

Fast forward two-and-a-half-years, and Pavard has added two Bundesliga trophies and DFB Cup, UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, German Super Cup and UEFA Super Cup winner's medals to his collection.
The 25-year-old has taken his game to another level with the German champions and is set to make his 100th appearance for the club when Bayern face Wolfsburg at the Allianz Arena on Matchday 17.
It is a proud moment for Pavard, who told L'Equipe: "Ever since I was little, I dreamt of playing at this level.
"When you're little and you see these clubs, you have stars in your eyes. To be where I am today, to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world, to celebrate my 100th game at Bayern Munich in two-and-a-half years, it’s a huge source of pride."
Since joining the club, only Manuel Neuer (121), Robert Lewandowski (108), Thomas Müller (107) and Joshua Kimmich (104) have started more games for Bayern than Pavard.
According to Pavard, that stat "means I'm a soldier" and his ability to go to war week in, week out is a reason why his winning mentality has been such a good fit at a club where success is not just an expectation, it is a demand.
And Pavard was aligned with those demands the instant he became a Bayern player.
"When I got to the halls I felt this atmosphere, this story, this habit of winning, this hard work mentality. A club where even when you win 2-0 or 3-0, you have to keep attacking," he said.
"I found myself in there, it’s my mentality. And then there's a continuity in the philosophy. Whoever the coach, Bayern is made for the attack. We never have enough. Never enough goals, never enough titles. It’s a mentality."
