Thomas Müller says he is ready to return to international duty after Germany head coach Joachim Löw hinted at recalling the Bayern Munich forward in time for UEFA Euro 2020.
It's two years since Müller was informed - along with fellow 2014 FIFA World Cup-winning cornerstones Jerome Boateng and Mats Hummels - he'd no longer be considered for selection.
Just last leek, however, Löw revealed he is weighing up a U-turn that 100-time Germany international Müller would more than welcome.
"I feel like chasing titles in the summer," Müller told Sky Sports Germany after helping Bayern fight back from 2-0 down to beat Borussia Dortmund 4-2, with Löw in attendance at the Allianz Arena.
"We'll see if it's the end for me after the Champions League final or whether I will play for the national team. I'm definitely ready."

Needless to say, Müller would be a welcome re-addition to the Germany squad.
The 31-year-old was a key figure as Bayern completed an historic sextuple earlier this year, and sits second in the league-wide rankings for combined goals and assists since the start of last season, behind teammate Robert Lewandowski.
His record at international level is not too shabby, either. In 100 senior appearances for Die Mannschaft - all of which have come under Löw - Müller has had a direct hand in 74 goals.
He has played in three World Cups, winning the Golden and Silver Boot in 2010 and 2014 respectively, and two European Championships. His last outing was as a substitute in a 2-2 draw against the Netherlands in the inaugural UEFA Nations League in November 2018.
Löw says he will make a final decision on Müller, Boateng and Hummels in May, a month before Germany go in search of a fourth European title. They have been drawn in Group F alongside world champions France, Euro holders Portugal and play-off winners Hungary.
The competition is taking place a year later than scheduled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
