Benjamin Pavard has admitted Bayern Munich were the only club he wanted to join, after officially completing his move to the Allianz Arena on 1 July.
It was back in January when the highly coveted Pavard, 23, signed a five-year deal to move from VfB Stuttgart to record champions Bayern at the end of the 2018/19 season.
Now a Bayern player, the French 2018 FIFA World Cup-winning defender says he would not have had it any other way.
"When I think of Bayern, I think of the best club in Germany and perhaps the whole world," Pavard told fcbayern.tv. "It's a club that wins a lot of titles. For me, it was Bayern or nothing."

Pavard has inherited the No.5 shirt from the departed Mats Hummels at Bayern, a sure-fire indication of the central role he can look forward to playing with the 28-time Bundesliga champions in the years ahead.
The former Lille youngster's three-season stint at Stuttgart was bookended by promotion to the Bundesliga and relegation to Bundesliga 2, but he only has his eyes on competing for the very top prizes with Bayern.
"I've really enjoyed my first day in Munich," he said on Monday. "Hopefully there are even better days to come, hopefully trophies."
Pavard, who made 63 Bundesliga and 21 Bundesliga 2 appearances for Stuttgart, will have the opportunity to add to the World Cup trophy he won with France at Russia 2018 when Bayern travel to Borussia Dortmund to contest the 2019 German Supercup on 3 August.
