Borussia Dortmund

Edin Terzić (head coach): "We're extremely disappointed. We expected so much more, but it didn't happen. We conceded from the first set piece. That gave Bayern the edge and they punished the little mistakes. It wasn't enough defensively or in attack. We can't play that way - but Bayern played very well."

Gregor Kobel (goalkeeper): "Pressure is there every day. These games mean a lot. It's fun to be on the pitch, but not if you lose like this. It's not the pressure. We need to be professional. This is every-day business. Pressure is no excuse. We need to be more ready from the beginning. At the end of the day, we just need to be better."

Bayern Munich

Harry Kane (striker): "It was a fantastic game all-round. The way we started the game; to go two goals up, and we controlled it really well. In these big derby games, you have to give everything, and we did that today. To have the 4-0 in front of our away fans here is a special night.

"I think, obviously, we were after a reaction after the midweek disappointment [of the DFB Cup exit to Saarbrücken]. We wanted to come out and go full throttle with the pressure and with the ball. We couldn't have asked for a better start. Spells in the second half where it was a bit up and down. The third goal is always vital, so once we got that, we knew the game was ours. I'm enjoying it, the team enjoyed today, but there's still a long way to go. So, we look forward to next week now."

Manuel Neuer (goalkeeper): "Every fan and player looks forward to Der Klassiker. Today we showed the real us. We started really well. We have some really quick players, who really hurt Dortmund."

Leon Goreztka (midfielder): "Everyone knows about the atmosphere here, what the fans can do. So it was nice to stifle that with the early goals. That gave our fans a real lift. To celebrate in the away end with them was a dream. To win 4-0 - it was dominant. A boxer on the ropes is always dangerous. It wasn't a good week, but we showed a reaction. We bowled them over in the end."

Thomas Tuchel (head coach): "We always try, we try to score, to create chances. We used our first set piece. We created a lot of chances, and we deserved to score as many goals as we did. It was a very good performance from us, from start to finish. It was a top game and a top performance. It was intense, but we were switched on and effective. I'm delighted for the team because we didn't play so well against Saarbrücken. Everyone sensed the importance of the game. It's huge."

Jan-Christian Dreesen (CEO): "We put down a marker. You're always excited ahead of Der Klassiker. I'm delighted. The team wanted to show a reaction to the cup loss. That's the quality we spoke about. The players wanted to win. We're capable of winning the big games."
