Sunday's Rhine Derby between Borussia Mönchengladbach and Cologne has been called off because of Storm Ciara.
With the high winds and widespread rains that have been battering parts of Europe showing no signs of abating, the Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL), in consultation with the local authorities, have decided to postpone the fixture on safety grounds.
The match was scheduled to kick-off at 3.30pm CET at Gladbach's Borussia-Park.
Details of the rearranged fixture will be announced in the coming weeks, the DFL have confirmed.
Gladbach, who are fourth in the standings, would have moved level with leaders Bayern Munich with a win.
Cologne are down in 13th, six points clear of the relegation zone.
Bayern's top-of-the-table clash with second-placed RB Leipzig (6pm CET) is still expected to go ahead.
It is the 387th cancellation of a Bundesliga match since the league's founding in 1963, and the first since 19 November 2011.
