UEFA Euro 2024 is getting towards the business end, and the Bundesliga’s cream of the crop are enjoying plenty of magic moments - in fact, players from the German top flight have scored more goals than those from any other division and Borussia Dortmund have provided more scorers than any other club.

While they may have missed out on the Meisterschale, Bayern Munich’s finest are also impressing on the international stage. Jamal Musiala was on the scoresheet in Germany’s 5-1 win against Scotland as well as the 2-0 victories over Hungary and Denmark, with his strike versus the latter booking the hosts' place in the quarter-finals.

That puts him joint-top of the goalscoring rankings alongside the Netherlands' Cody Gakpo plus two other players. With Musiala following Georges Mikautadze and Ivan Schranz in exiting the competition, Musiala now has to hope he is not eclipsed by his Dutch rival for the competition’s Golden Boot.

They both might have competition though from Borussia Dortmund's Donyell Malen, who grabbed the Netherlands' two other goals in the 3-0 round of 16 win over Romania.

Not content with being the Bundesliga’s leading scorer, Harry Kane remains in contention to reign supreme at Euro 2024 too. He has two goals to his name thus far, including the winner in England’s dramatic comeback win versus Slovakia in the round of 16. With Switzerland up next, he will be eager to add to his tally.

Joining that duo on more than one strike is Niclas Füllkrug. Remarkably, the Dortmund striker did not start a game for Julian Nagelsmann’s men in this tournament, but still found the back of the net on two occasions. His header against the Swiss in the final group game meant Germany finished in top spot, underlining his ability to contribute in the biggest moments, and he might have had more goals: he hit a post against Spain and went close late on.

Talking about big moments - Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Florian Wirtz scored the opening goal of Euro 2024 and slotted in a dramatic 89th minute-equaliser as Germany took Spain to extra-time in an epic quarter-final battle.

German hearts were broken in that encounter, with RB Leipzig's Olmo clipping in the first of two Spanish goals in clinical fashion - also his second goal of the tournament.

Two additional Dortmund players: Emre Can – who was not included in the initial squad and was only called up after Aleksandar Pavlović was ruled out – and Marcel Sabitzer have also found the back of the net. Bayer Leverkusen's Patrik Schick, Augsburg’s Rubén Vargas, Hoffenheim’s Andrej Kramarić, Leipzig's Christoph BaumgartnerDarmstadt's Klaus Gjasula, Werder Bremen's Romano Schmid and Freiburg's Michael Gregoritsch are also amongst those to have struck for their respective countries.

All in all, Bundesliga players have now amassed 23 goals - a full nine more than second-placed Serie A, and ten ahead of both the Premier League and La Liga.

As you can see above, those goals have been spread far and wide throughout the Bundesliga, leaving Dortmund (six) as the club that has contributed the most goals at Euro 2024 so far. Bayern (five) are just behind, level with their heavyweight counterparts from Spain, Real Madrid.

Once again, German football is shining on the biggest stage – keep it up, Männer!
