Introducing the Supercup ball!
The inaugural Franz Beckenbauer Supercup marks the sixth time that DERBYSTAR has produced an exclusive matchball for the occasion, with VfB Stuttgart hosting Bayern Munich for the first silverware of the 2025/26 season.
When Stuttgart take on Bayern at the MHP Arena on 16 August, it will mark the first time that the fixture is held under its new official name, the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup.
With that in mind, matchball manufacturer DERBYSTAR consciously chose a classic black-and-white design, with the new official competition logo also integrated into the panels.
The ball is based on the 2025/26 model set to be used in the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 in the upcoming season, and has once again been partially made from recycled materials.
Sports equipment manufacturer DERBYSTAR has been a partner of the DFL since the 2018/19 season, providing the official matchballs for the Bundesliga, Bundesliga 2 and the Supercup (since 2020).
The partnership with the internationally recognised, long-standing brand will continue until summer 2026.
