Wolfsburg have secured the signing of Dodi Lukebakio on loan from Hertha Berlin, the Belgium international winger joining until the end of the season.
Former Watford man Lukebakio, who scored 10 goals in 31 games on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf in 2018/19, has spent the last two seasons with Hertha, with whom he racked up 16 goals and 13 assists in 67 appearances in all competitions.
The 23-year-old has featured in all three Bundesliga games for Hertha so far this season - starting two of them - but the acquisitions of Kevin-Prince Boateng and Stevan Jovetic is likely to put pressure on his position once their fitness allows, and Wolfsburg are delighted to add him to their ranks.
"We're very happy that Dodi has decided to tackle the challenges that await us this season together," said Wolfsburg sporting director Marcel Schäfer. "We're convinced that his qualities can help us achieve our goals."

Lukebakio, who has scored twice in seven career meetings against Wolfsburg, made his first and hitherto only Belgium appearance in a 2-1 friendly win over Switzerland last November. He is confident he can kick on with the Wolves, who go into the international break atop the Bundesliga standings.
"Wolfsburg are a big team in Germany and impressed me with their team spirit last season, and also most recently playing against them with Hertha," Lukebakio said. "I think I'll fit into the team very well. I'm really excited about the club and can't wait to play for Wolfsburg. It's an absolute dream for me to be able to play in the Champions League with them."
Lukebakio could make his Wolves debut on 12 September, when they travel to Greuther Fürth for Bundesliga Matchday 4.
