Eleven players from the Bundesliga feature in the top 100 players of EA SPORTS' FIFA 20, with the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Manuel Neuer, Marco Reus and Philippe Coutinho part of what would be a formidable Bundesliga team in the real and interactive world.

Robert Lewandowski

Club: Bayern Munich
Position: ST
Overall rating: 89

He may have just turned 31, but the prolific Pole remains as potent as ever inside the penalty box. For those who thought a fourth Torjägerkanone crown last season would herald a slow down in the scoring, think again? Six goals in three Bundesliga appearances to kick off the new season suggest it's the same old Lewy, always scoring.

Manuel Neuer

Club: Bayern Munich
Position: GK
Overall rating: 88

Big Manu has rewritten the goalkeeper's rulebook in the real and virtual world. If you want someone to save your side in the biggest games, then you'd put your team's destiny — quite literally — in the hands of the Bayern Munich and Germany number one.

Manuel Neuer remains one of the world's best goalkeepers in the real and virtual world.

Marco Reus

Club: Borussia Dortmund
Position: CAM
Overall rating: 88

The Dortmund captain played some of the best football of his career in the 2018/19 campaign, netting 17 times to register his second-highest tally ever. Along with his ability to take and make goals, Reus' experience gives 'value added' to a young Dortmund side that features the brilliant but youthful Jadon Sancho.

Mats Hummels

Club: Borussia Dortmund
Position: CB
Overall rating: 87

He may have been told his services are no longer required by Germany, but Hummels' class and quality remain firmly intact at the age of 30. After three wildly successful years at Bayern that enabled him to build up a treasure trove of trophies, he has returned to Dortmund where — like Reus — his big-game nous provides a solid platform for his exciting side.

Mats Hummels defensive and leadership qualities make him a real asset for aspiring FIFA Ultimate Team players.

Thiago

Club: Bayern Munich
Position: CM
Overall rating: 87

The Spain international continues to show why Pep Guardiola made his signing his top priority when the ex-Barcelona boss took charge of Bayern in 2013. Not prolific in the goals column, nor overly productive in terms of assists, Thiago is the man who sets the tempo for Bayern, providing a solid link between defence and attack and often playing the role of 'ground zero' for their attacks.

Thiago's passing range is right up their with the best of them.

Joshua Kimmich

Club: Bayern Munich
Position: RB
Overall rating: 86

The advantage of Kimmich is that he is so good he can — almost — play anywhere on the pitch. Christened 'the next Philipp Lahm', he has excelled at right-back, and the 14 assists he registered last season in Bayern's title-winning campaign showed he shares the 2014 FIFA World Cup winner's ability to be just as effective in either final third.

Joshua Kimmich is a designated right-back, but wouldn't be out of place in your FUT midfield.

Thomas Müller

Club: Bayern Munich
Position: CAM
Overall rating: 86

The 'Raumdeuter' just keeps on producing. The Bayern man turns 30 in mid-September (N.B. 13th), but age has not diminished his formidable powers or his passion. If you want someone to unlock a defence or come up with a goal just when you need one, Müller is your man.

If you want a tricky customer in the final third, look no futher than Thomas Müller.

Philippe Coutinho

Club: Bayern Munich
Position: LW
Overall rating: 86

The Brazilian may be new to the Bundesliga, but needs no introduction. The phenomenal quality he showed for Liverpool and Barcelona is now at the service of Bayern, who — having parted ways with James Rodriguez — have found themselves another South American creative genius.

Axel Witsel

Club: Borussia Dortmund
Position: CDM
Overall rating: 85

Any question marks over whether the former Benfica and Zenit St. Petersburg midfielder could cut it back in Europe after 18 months in China were emphatically answered by Witsel's 2018/19 season with Dortmund. A driving force in the centre of the park, the Belgium international shows no sign of slowing down.

Axel Witsel is the glue that binds Dortmund's defence and attack.

Niklas Süle

Club: Bayern Munich
Position: CB
Overall rating: 85

Surely Süle is Germany and Bayern's centre-back for the next decade. Powerful, pacy and unerringly precise in the pass, and at 24 — here's the scary thing — he can only get better.

Not many players can keep Marco Reus quiet, but Niklas Süle is one of them.

David Alaba

Club: Bayern Munich
Position: LB
Overall rating: 85

What Kimmich does for Bayern on the right, Alaba does for Bayern on the left. The telepathic understanding he had with Franck Ribery has been transferred to another Frenchman, Kingsley Coman, and it is highly productive business as usual. His set-pieces remain a serious source of goal threat too. What more could you want?

David Alaba can hit free-kicks as well as he can defend.

FIFA 20 - the 27th installment in the FIFA series - is set to be released on 27 September 2019 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
