Díaz stars as Bayern extend winning streak

Bayern Munich made it six wins from six in the Bundesliga as Luis Díaz scored twice and Harry Kane netted his 11th league goal of the season in a commanding 3-0 victory at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Two of the Bundesliga's most prolific attacks faced off at Deutsche Bank Park, with Bayern having scored 21 goals in their opening five matches and Frankfurt not far behind with 17.

Lightning start sets tone for Bayern dominance

Bayern made a breathtaking start when Díaz fired the visitors ahead after just 15 seconds. Frankfurt failed to clear a long ball from Manuel Neuer that Kane had flicked on, allowing Serge Gnabry to deliver a low cross that Díaz poked home.

The hosts thought they'd equalised in the 14th minute when Jean-Mattéo Bahoya curled in a fine finish, but it was ruled out for handball by Ritsu Dōan in the build-up on review. Bayern doubled their lead in the 27th minute when Kane fired a superb low drive from 21 metres into the bottom corner for his 11th goal of the campaign – a new Bundesliga record after six matchdays.

Clinical Bayern seal comfortable victory

Vincent Kompany's side continued to control proceedings after the interval, with Kane hitting the post from close range following a corner in the 55th minute. Frankfurt struggled to create meaningful chances against a disciplined Bayern defence, with Dōan's shot drifting wide in the 70th minute their best opportunity.

Any hopes of a Frankfurt comeback were extinguished in the 84th minute when Díaz struck his second goal of the match, taking Raphaël Guerreiro's pass on the break before firing past Kauã Santos.

The victory was Bayern's sixth in six league matches, extending their historic start to the season and setting a new Bundesliga record with 25 goals scored. For Neuer, the clean sheet marked his 362nd Bundesliga victory, equalling Thomas Müller's all-time record.

Sealing the deal: Luis Díaz fires home his second goal of the match to complete Bayern's 3-0 victory.

Player of the Match: Luis Díaz

The Colombian winger produced a stellar performance, scoring twice and providing the assist for Kane's goal. Díaz set the tone with his strike after just 15 seconds – one of the fastest goals in Bundesliga history – and effectively sealed the result with his clinical finish in the 84th minute.

Beyond his direct goal contributions, Díaz was a constant threat with his pace (reaching 32.22 km/h) and dribbling ability, consistently troubling the Frankfurt defence. His all-round display earned him 413 fantasy points, the highest of any player on the pitch, cementing his status as the standout performer in Bayern's commanding victory.

Star performer: Luis Díaz was unstoppable throughout the match, scoring twice and providing an assist in a man-of-the-match display.
