Eintracht Frankfurt teenager Evan N'Dicka won the TAG Heuer Rookie of the Month award for February.
N'Dicka (19) beat RB Leipzig's Tyler Adams and Hertha Berlin's Marko Grujic to the prize.
Mr. Indispensable
N'Dicka appeared in 23 of Frankfurt's first 24 Bundesliga matches of the season, starting 22 of them. Among the youngster's chief qualities are his positioning, passing ability and, crucially for a defender, strength in the tackle.
In Frankfurt's four Bundesliga games in February he won a huge 77 per cent of his aerial duels, and 61 per cent of his challenges overall, while he completed 86 per cent of his passes and made 59 interceptions.
The France U20 international has also gained experience on the international stage, making his fifth and sixth UEFA Europa League outings in February - both over the full 90 minutes - as Frankfurt sensationally overcame Shakhtar Donetsk to reach the last 16 of the competition.
