Eintracht Frankfurt have been drawn against Portuguese Primeira Liga team Benifca in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League.

Adi Hütter’s men beat Italian giants Inter Milan 1-0 on Thursday, with Luka Jovic – who is owned by the Portuguese club – scoring his seventh goal of this season’s competition at the San Siro to ensure a 1-0 aggregate win.

Neither Benfica nor Frankfurt have announced whether Jovic can play, but there is no UEFA rule against a player featuring against his parent club.

The first leg is at the Estadio da Luz on 11 April, with the return leg at Eintracht’s Commerzbank Arena on 18 April. Die Adler will face the winner of the quarter-final between Chelsea and Slavia Prague in the semi-finals should they prevail.

Frankfurt were European Cup runners-up in 1960, and won this competition’s precursor, the UEFA Cup in 1980.
