Augsburg centre-back Felix Uduokhai and Wolfsburg right-back Ridle Baku have earned their first senior call-ups for Germany's upcoming games against the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Spain.
The 23-year-old Uduokhai - a product of 1860 Munich's fabled youth academy - has been ever-present for Augsburg this season as die Fuggerstädter have defied expectations to clamber into sixth place ahead of their Matchday 7 fixture at home to Hertha Berlin.
Meanwhile, 22-year-old former Mainz man Baku - now at Wolfsburg - has been brought in to replace the injured Marcel Halstenberg and Thilo Kehrer in Löw's latest squad.
Uduokhai's Augsburg teammate last season Philipp Max has earned a call-up having impressed since his summer transfer to PSV Eindhoven. Also a left-footed defender - albeit one who prefers to bomb down the wing - Max has contributed four assists since becoming teammates with Mario Götze in the Dutch Eredivisie.
Bayern Munich are the best-represented Bundesliga club in Joachim Löw's latest ensemble with five - Manuel Neuer, Serge Gnabry, Joshua Kimmich, Leroy Sane and Leon Goretzka - set to feature in the UEFA Nations League only.
Germany will take on the Czech Republic in a friendly in Leipzig next Wednesday before resuming their Nations League Group A4 campaign against Ukraine and Spain.
