Goalkeepers
Christian Früchtl (Bayern Munich) – Current: 65, Potential: 82
Luca Plogmann (Werder Bremen) – Current: 63, Potential: 81
Teenage goalkeepers Früchtl and Plogmann are certainly ones for the future, with the former being lined up as Manuel Neuer's long-term successor at Bayern Munich. Both uncut gems will require a bit of polishing, but they can potentially reach an 80+ rating.
Defenders
Ibrahima Konate (RB Leipzig) – Current: 79, Potential: 88
Dayot Upamecano (RB Leipzig) – Current: 77, Potential: 88
Dan-Axel Zagadou (Borussia Dortmund) – Current: 79, Potential: 86
Achraf Hakimi (Borussia Dortmund) – Current: 79, Potential: 86
Evan N'Dicka (Eintracht Frankfurt) – Current: 76, Potential: 86

Gian-Luca Itter (Freiburg) – Current: 67, Potential: 83
Louis Beyer (Borussia Mönchengladbach) – Current: 67, Potential: 83
*Bundesliga 2
RB Leipzig defensive duo Konate and Upamecano are already among the Bundesliga's best, but still have room for improvement on FIFA 20. Zagadou and Hakimi are also established first-team regulars who will take a chunk out of your budget, but there are plenty of Bundesliga bargains to be found among defenders. Leipzig's Chelsea loanee Ampadu and Germany U20 left-back Vagnoman can improve by almost 20, while Itter and Beyer also have solid potential ratings of 83. The versatile Retsos is more expensive but he can slot in anywhere across the backline.
Midfielders
Kai Havertz (Bayer Leverkusen) – Current: 84, Potential: 92
Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund) – Current: 84, Potential: 92
Arne Maier (Hertha Berlin) – Current: 76, Potential: 88
Alphonso Davies (Bayern Munich) – Current: 72, Potential: 87
Tyler Adams (RB Leipzig) – Current: 76, Potential: 86
Weston McKennie (Schalke) – Current: 76, Potential: 86
Paulinho (Bayer Leverkusen) – Current: 71, Potential: 86
Jacob Bruun Larsen (Borussia Dortmund) – Current: 75, Potential: 85
Hannes Wolf (RB Leipzig) – Current: 74, Potential: 85
Moussa Diaby (Bayer Leverkusen) – Current: 70, Potential: 85
Ruben Vargas (Augsburg) – Current: 70, Potential: 85
Rabbi Matondo (Schalke) – Current: 65, Potential: 85
The best two youngsters in the Bundesliga are also the top midfield prospects on FIFA 20. Havertz and Sancho need no introduction, but their glittering reputations make them expensive acquisitions. Emerging North American stars Davies, Adams and McKennie are all owned by big clubs but boast potential ratings in the high 80s, while there are a host of up-and-comers who, with savvy management, can be developed into genuine heavy hitters.

Forwards
Matheus Cunha (RB Leipzig) – Current: 74, Potential: 85
Ahmed Kutucu (Schalke) – Current: 68, Potential: 85
Jann-Fiete Arp (Bayern Munich) – Current: 67, Potential: 85
Josh Sargent (Werder Bremen) – Current: 67, Potential: 84
Dennis Jastrzembski (Hertha Berlin) – Current: 66, Potential: 84
There aren't too many established young forwards plying their trade in the Bundesliga, with Cunha the only man to have a current rating over 70. But there is still plenty of star quality to be found among this quintet, who all offer mid-80s potential. And you only have to look at Sargent's recent stunner against Augsburg to realise that he's got the ability to become one of the game's deadliest marksmen, be it on the pitch or on the console!
Watch: Sargent is already showing off his incredible talent!
