Lewandowski and Haaland make FIFA FIFPRO World XI
Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski and Borussia Dortmund counterpart Erling Haaland have been named in the FIFA FIFPRO World XI for 2021.
Lewandowski scored 69 goals in all competitions across 2021, with 43 of those coming in the Bundesliga alone - a joint record for the German top-flight when it comes to most goals in a calendar year.
He also became a nine-time Bundesliga champion in 2021 and helped Bayern win the German Super Cup, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup, while many thought he should have gone one better and lifted this year's Ballon d'Or.
In Dortmund, meanwhile, Haaland was responsible for 49 goals for club and country across 2021, 30 of which were plundered in the Bundesliga.

The 21-year-old struck twice in the DFB Cup final as Dortmund got their hands on the trophy for a fifth time in what was another record-breaking year for the young striker.
Lewandowski - awarded the Best FIFA Men's prize for the second year in a row - and Haaland are joined by Lionel Messi in the World XI. Former Bayern defender David Alaba also made the grade.
