Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke believes Gio Reyna and Jude Bellingham will play an important role for the club in the long-term.
Reyna and Bellingham - who have been combined at Dortmund in 2020/21 after Bellingham's summer arrival from Birmingham City - have quickly become first-team regulars at the start of the new campaign.
American Reyna scored his first Bundesliga goal in BVB's opening weekend win over Borussia Mönchengladbach, while Englishman Bellingham - who assisted that goal - has started three of the first four league games of the season and collected the Bundesliga's Rookie of the Month award for September.

Joining the likes of Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho at the club, both Reyna and Bellingham - despite being only 17-years-old - are already regular members of the first-team squad despite their tender years, and the club's chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke believes the duo have a big role to play in the future of Die Schwarzgelben.
"Bellingham and Reyna will certainly stay here for a long time," Watzke told ZDF. "We have many young players with us who have a lot of potential. We're currently forming an important axis.
"I don't know whether this is the best squad we've had, but it's the most ambitious. We have a great mix of both experienced and young talented players."
Dortmund have made a successful start to the 2020/21 season, winning three of their first four Bundesliga matches of the season - as well as progressing comfortably into the second round of the DFB Cup.
Lucien Favre's side will now, however, face Revierderby rivals Schalke and Klassiker foes Bayer Munich in the next three weeks - alongside the start of the club's UEFA Champions League campaign - in the first pivotal stage of the campaign.
