Bundesliga

Hamburg's Volksparkstadion was singing heartily in the rain during the Red Shorts' big weekend win against Mainz, and for Albert Sambi Lokonga, the special atmosphere in the port city was worthy of high praise.
Prior to Sunday's victory in northern Germany, Hamburg were the Bundesliga's lowest scoring side this season.
However, when Sambi Lokonga opened his team's account in what was his first German top-flight start, the floodgates opened. A Rayan Philippe double and a further strike from Jean-Luc Dompé saw Merlin Polzin's team romp home to a 4-0 triumph that took the hosts into the top half of the Bundesliga standings.

After registering his first Bundesliga goal, Sambi Lokonga began to revel in the party atmosphere inside the 57,000 capacity ground and it is something the 25-year-old will be keen to replicate in future weeks.
"It's crazy to be playing in such a loud, atmospheric stadium; I hope it will be like this all season," the summer signing from Arsenal said.
"I've played in many different stadiums in my career, but I've never experienced such a great atmosphere," he added.
Despite playing in more than 50 Premier League games for Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Luton, Sambi Lokonga was keen to state that the spirit and mood he has encountered in Germany's top tier beats that of England's showpiece division.
"I think it's louder here in Hamburg than in the Premier League," the Belgium international insisted. "It's definitely much louder here than in England and people are singing all the time. It's sensational."
Hamburg's victory against Mainz was their biggest in the Bundesliga since knocking five unanswered goals past Nuremberg in October 2013.
Die Rothosen will look to build on their three-game unbeaten run when they return to action after the international break with a trip to the Red Bull Arena to face RB Leipzig. In Saxony, Sambi Lokonga and the buyont visitors can expect the decibels to register just as loudly on 18 October.
