"Jamal Musiala has a huge future" - Werner
Bayern Munich teenager Jamal Musiala has been tipped for the very top by Germany teammate Timo Werner.
Musiala marked his full Germany debut with an assist for Chelsea forward Werner as Die Mannschaft got the Hansi Flick era under way with a 2-0 win at Liechtenstein in 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying.
It was the latest in an ever-growing line of milestones for a teenaged talent racing up the career ladder for club and country.
"Jamal's gone through the roof in the last six months; he’s a great player and has a huge future," Werner told media ahead of Germany's World Cup qualifier against Armenia.
"Jamal just goes out on the pitch, plays his game and has fun. We're happy to have him with us. Maybe we, other players, should take a leaf out of his book."

Musiala's early-career diaries make for quite the read. Like Werner in his formative days at VfB Stuttgart, the prodigious midfielder made history as Bayern's youngest Bundesliga debutant, aged 17 years and 115 days, on the penultimate weekend of 2019/20.
He's since become Bayern's youngest goalscorer and Germany's greenest debutant at a major finals, whilst producing 10 goals and four assists. Such is his accelerated development, the Armenia game would mark his 50th senior appearance in all competitions.
The six-time senior international - who represented England up to U21 level - is enjoying his second full season on the pro circuit. He was recently hailed for his "street footballer" abilities by Bayern head coach Julian Nagelsmann, and is contracted to the record champions until summer 2026.
