Leroy Sane has joined Bayern Munich from Manchester City, the Germany international returning to the Bundesliga on a five-year contract.
Sane, 24, was officially revealed as a Bayern player by the record Bundesliga champions on Tuesday after completing his medical in Munich.
The Germany international winger is no stranger to the Bundesliga, having made 47 Bundesliga appearances for Schalke between 2013 and 2016 before his switch to Manchester City, where he won two English Premier League titles, scoring 39 goals in 135 appearances.
"FC Bayern is a very big club and has big goals - and these goals suit me as well," Sane said. "I'm looking forward to the new challenge and can't wait to train with the team. I still know Hansi Flick from the U21 national team, we had a very good relationship there. I want to win as many titles as possible with FC Bayern, and the Champions League is at the top."
Predominantly employed as a right or left winger, Sane will provide competition to Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry. He has also played in an attacking midfield and forward role and will thus expand Hansi Flick's options for the coming years having lost legendary duo Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery in the summer of 2019.
"We're very happy that Leroy will become a Bayern player," said sports director Hasan Salihamidzic. "Leroy is a difference maker and will strengthen our team with his quality. With Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman and Leroy, we are now well occupied with flexibilty at the highest level in the wide positions important for our game."

Capped 21 times by Germany, Sane becomes the second confirmed signing for Bayern this summer with fellow Schalke youth graduate, Alexander Nübel, set to join at the end of his current contract with the Royal Blues.
Working under former Bayern boss Pep Guardiola, Sane scored 16 goals in all competitions in the 2018/19 season, contributing 10 goals and assists in City's successful league title defence, although a cruciate ligament injury restricted him to just once appearance this season.
