Filip Kostic (Eintracht Frankfurt)

After assisting one goal across his first nine appearances of the campaign, Kostic went on to set up 13 goals in 21 outings since the turn of the year. He ended the season with a bang, laying on two of Frankfurt's three goals in their final day victory over Freiburg.

Kimmich produced nine assists last season and 14 the one before that, so it's no surprise to see him assuming creative duties once more. He reached double digits once again, despite going 14 league matches without a single provision at the end of the campaign. Kimmich did, however, add a stunning fourth goal to his total on the final weekend.

The Portugal international once again proved to be one of the league's most dangerous defenders in the final third, regularly providing crosses for his teammates from the left-wing. Indeed, he even had more assists than his teammates who play further up the field - including the likes of Marco Reus and Thorgan Hazard, with his last in 2020/21 coming when he set up Jadon Sancho for both of his goals against Leipzig on Matchday 32.

Dani Olmo, Leroy Sane, Borna Sosa and Christopher Trimmel all ended the campaign just outside the top-10 on nine assists apiece.
