VfB Stuttgart CEO Alexander Wehrle has confirmed that Germany striker Nick Woltemade will remain at the club in 2025/26.
Woltemade, 23, enjoyed a stunning debut campaign at Stuttgart, scoring 12 Bundesliga goals and a further five as Die Schwaben won the DFB Cup.
After being rewarded for his superb performances with his first senior Germany caps at the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League Final Four tournament, the former Werder Bremen forward has helped propel his country's U21s into the Euro semi-finals, with a tournament-leading four goals in three games, as well as three assists.

Admiring glances are growing with every goal, but Wehrle insists his star man is staying put. "We're going into the new season with Nick. That's the end of it," the Stuttgart chief told local publication Stuttgarter Zeitung.
However, Wehrle did not rule out the prospect of a future move, if the conditions are right for all concerned. "Every club, apart from Bayern [Munich], is prepared to discuss a transfer once a certain figure is reached. That also applies to us. We're in a constant dialogue, with Nick as well."
Woltemade, who joined Stuttgart from Bremen last summer, has a contract with the three-time Bundesliga champions until 30 June 2028.
