Which midfielders should you pick in Fantasy?
As we approach the start of the new Bundesliga season, it's time to make the final touches to your Official Fantasy Managers team, and these midfield maestros could make all the difference!
Michael Olise (Bayern Munich, 23.5 million)

This season, you can hardly do without Bayern Munich's Michael Olise. At 23.5 million, he is the most expensive player in the game, but that remains a fair price considering he scored more points in 2024/25 than anyone else.
Of course, there is always a case to be made against filling your side with superstars and instead go for cheap options who present value for money. However, Olise is not someone you should be avoiding.
Jobe Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund, 14.5 million)

What Borussia Dortmund's new signing Jobe Bellingham lacks in Bundesliga and Fantasy Manager experience, he makes up for in star appeal. While he has a relatively high market value of 14.5 million, the 19-year-old's attacking role could make him a lucrative point scorer from kick-off in BVB's Matchday 1 clash at St. Pauli.
If you wish to be frugal yet also include a Bellingham teammate in your midfield, Pascal Groß at a market value of 9.6 million may well be a bargain after racking up 10 assists in 2024/25.

Kevin Stöger (Borussia Mönchengladbach, 11.3 million)

Following Alassane Pléa's exit from Borussia Mönchengladbach, Kevin Stöger is now primed to make the offensive midfield position his own, which should come as music to the ears of Fantasy managers. The Austria international's heavy involvement in matches and chance creation make him a potential cheat code for points.
His ability to both find the back of the net himself and also provide numerous assists are bonuses.
Yuito Suzuki (SC Freiburg, 5.8 million)
Welcome to Fantasy Manager, Yuito Suzuki! The Japan international is expected to play a significant role in Freiburg's forward line, which makes him an interesting option at 5.8 million whether instead of or alongside established Fantasy favourite and new teammate Vincenzo Grifo (12.7 million).
However, considering Freiburg now have a number of offensive weapons after a busy transfer window, you may want to see how their starting XI takes shape over the first few weeks of the season.

Mert Kömür (FC Augsburg, 4.6 million)
In Augsburg's Mert Kömür, you can sign a midfield starting regular who provides attacking threat for under five million.
The U21 Germany international has played an important role in pre-season under new Augsburg head coach Sandro Wagner, and should therefore add considerably to the 20 Bundesliga appearances - including five starts - he made last season.
