Holders Bayern Munich won 1-0 on the night, but exited the UEFA Champions League on away goals after their quarter-final tie with Paris Saint-Germain ended 3-3 on aggregate.
As it happened
Bayern win 1-0 on the night but exit in the quarter-finals, as PSG go through on away goals.
Alaba picks out Sane with a brilliant cross-field pass from left to right. Sane beats Bakker and has a full view of the penalty area, with Müller and Musiala waiting for a pass, but Sane opts to fizz it across the six-yard box and Navas leaps on it gratefully.
We're into the first of four minutes of stoppage time now. If anyone can find a goal in that time, it's Bayern.
PSG break forward after a Bayern attack breaks down. Mbappe slides a pass into Neymar, who only has Neuer to beat... or does he? The Bayern goalkeeper sprints out to intercept the ball before the PSG playmaker can get there.
PSG bring on an extra body in the middle of the pitch as they look to see out the tie.
The big Spaniard comes on for Choupo-Moting, who's run himself into the ground. Martinez is a defensive midfielder by trade, but he'll play high up here as Bayern push for a decisive second goal.
The Germany winger turns Bakker inside-out on the right-hand corner of the PSG box. He finds space to shoot and goes for the back post with his weaker right foot but it whistles just wide of the target!
Mbappe bears down on goal with just Neuer to beat. He has a teammate with him but rifles a shot into the net. It won't count though, as he was offside when he made his run.
The PSG sub with a glorious chance to score as he drives into space inside the box but he gets his angles wrong and blazes well over the bar.
Kean replaces Draxler in attack for the home side.
We're into the final 20 minutes now and with Bayern needing a goal, Flick brings on Musiala for Davies. Alaba will go to left-back now, with Musiala going into midfield alongside Kimmich.
Coman is unmarked at the back post as he receives a lofted cross from the right. He cushions a fine header back into the middle, looking for Müller, but Paredes gets there first at full stretch and pokes the ball clear.
Draxler sprints down the PSG left and gets to the byline before pulling the ball back into the middle towards Neymar. Neuer anticipates the danger though and leaps on to it to snuff out the threat.
Superb stuff from Sane, who cuts inside Bakker on the Bayern right and slices a low diagonal pass through the PSG defence, behind Kimpembe and into Müller's run. It's a difficult one to take for the Bayern attacker, and he's crowded out as Navas comes off his line.
Diallo is taken off after appearing to injure his left hamstring. Bakker comes on to replace him at left-back.
Di Maria brings a ball down on his chest at the back post, skips past Davies and draws Neuer towards him before sliding the ball across the six-yard box. Neymar slides in and just needs a touch to score, but he can't quite reach it and Boateng gratefully puts it out for a corner at the back post!
Di Maria slides a pass behind Bayern's high backline for Mbappe to chase. For a moment he looks to be through on goal, but Neuer sprints out of his box to clear the danger.
Paredes chips the ball over the Bayern defence, right into Neymar's run. The Brazilian controls it on his chest and shoots quickly, but it's too high and sails well over.
Müller sprays the ball to the right to Sane, who immediately jinks into the box. He tries to pick out Müller with a cross but it's just behind him. It's partially cleared to just outside the area, but Alaba is lurking there. He gets a shot off but doesn't quite catch it as he'd like to and it bounces wide of the post.
PSG kick-off the second half. No changes from either side at the break.
We're into stoppage time now, not long to go before the half-time teas...
The Austrian, playing in central midfield tonight, shoots from 25 yards. It's a brilliant strike, but Navas pulls off an equally brilliant save, diving high to his right to tip it around the post!
Bayern still need another goal if they're to go through, given PSG's three away goals in the first leg.
Müller lays the ball off to Alaba, who shoots from 10 yards. Navas makes a good save but the ball loops up high into the sky. There are a couple of PSG defenders covering, but Choupo-Moting shows greater determination to win the rebound and nod it in from close range!
A combination of Draxler, Neymar and Mbappe surge forward and the latter again draws two defenders to him before slotting it into Neymar's run. The Brazilian prods it past Neuer but it comes back off the post!
DI Maria's free-kick from the left is only half-cleared by Kimmich. It falls kindly to Neymar on the left-hand corner of the Bayern penalty area. He jinks past Coman and curls a lovely shot towards the top corner, but it hits the top of the bar and goes out of play! A big let-off for Bayern there.
Bayern have still had more of the ball but PSG are looking very dangerous on the counter. Both teams have had three efforts at goal, but none of Bayern's have been on target, compared to two for the home side.
Neymar drives into the Bayern box on the left-hand corner and does a flurry of step-overs to create some space. He shoots towards the near post, but Neuer is alive to the danger and gets a big paw on it to save.
A huge, huge save from Neuer to keep Bayern in the tie. Mbappe draws two defenders towards him on the left side of the box before squaring it into the middle. There's nobody there but Neymar is arriving and has a free shot at goal... but Neuer stands tall to make a brilliant save.
Bayern's high press is again too much for PSG and this time it's Kimmich's turn to shoot. He's in space, 25 yards from goal, but he drags his shot wide of Navas' post!
A glorious chance for Sane, who finds space on his preferred left foot, right on the edge of the PSG box. He curls a powerful shot low towards the far post, but misses his target by a couple of inches.
Flick's side are pressing high and in numbers, trying to pen their hosts into the corner. The French champions try to play their way out and string together some lovely one-touch passing. Just when it looks like they're clear, however, Coman intercepts and sends Müller into space on the left. The 31-year-old instantly crosses for Choupo-Moting, who's lurking in the middle, but Danilo manages to clear.
Alaba gets to the byline on the left and pulls it back for Choupo-Moting. The ball's intercepted but falls to Kimmich on the edge of the area, but his first touch is heavy and PSG immediately go on the counter with Mbappe, Neymar and Di Maria charging forward. The latter tries to flick the ball up and over the Bayern defence for Neymar to collect inside the Bayern box, but Neuer is alert to come off his line and collect.
After a big of magic spray, Di Maria is back on the pitch.
The Argentinian winger is on the ground in some discomfort following a challenge with Davies. He's receiving treatment but looks OK to continue.
The Reds have had 55 per cent of possession so far and are spending a good deal of time in PSG's half, but they're being forced to bide their time against a well-drilled home rearguard.
This is David Alaba's 425th competitive outing for Bayern, equalling Franck Ribery's record as the foreign player with most appearances for the club.
Kimmich crosses into the box and Müller gets his head on it, but it's a bit behind him and he can't get any power or direction on it, and Navas saves comfortably.
Coman beats the offside trap and sprints away down the left to collect a long ball forward. He's too wide to have a shot, so checks his run and lays it back to Choupo-Moting. The Cameroon international takes a touch to control but wants just a tad too long to get a shot away, and a PSG defender recovers to clear the danger.
Hansi Flick's side are pressing high up the pitch when PSG are in possession, aggressively closing them down as they look to win it back. They'll have to be wary of counter-attacks though, as Mbappe is lurking on the shoulder of the last man and is looking to run into space whenever possible.
An early warning sign for Bayern as Neymar slips Mbappe in behind down the right-hand channel. He drives into the box and aims a shot for the far corner, but drags it wide of the upright.
Lewandowski told Sky Sports over the weekend he won't be taking any risks after sitting out last week's 3-2 loss in Munich with a knee injury sustained on international duty with Poland. The 2020 FIFA Best Men's Player would be a loss for any side - he was instrumental in Bayern’s clean sweep of six trophies in the last year and has been in imperious form again this campaign with a personal best haul of 35 goals in the Bundesliga - but the European champions have the means to cope. Former PSG striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Thomas Müller were on target in the first leg - a game which Bayern could have won by a landslide after rattling off 31 attempts on goal. Leroy Sane began Saturday's 1-1 draw with Union Berlin on the bench, with Alphonso Davies another regular afforded a full recharge over the weekend due to a domestic suspension. Niklas Süle and Serge Gnabry are definitely out, but head coach Hansi Flick does name Kingsley Coman and Jerome Boateng in his starting line-up following minor injury complaints. Lucas Hernandez also makes the grade, but Leon Goretzka is not involved, despite travelling. Jamal Musiala, who scored his fifth competitive goal of the campaign against Union, is on the bench ahead of a match Bayern need to win by two clear goals to progress to the semi-finals.
PSG have personnel troubles of their own. The difference between a fortuitous win and a heavy loss in Munich, first-choice goalkeeper Keylor Navas was substituted off early in the defending Ligue 1 champions' 4-1 win at Strasbourg on Saturday, but is passed fit to start. Influential defender Marquinhos isn't involved due to a groin injury sustained in the first leg, while left-back Layvin Kurzawa is another big miss. With Juan Bernat out, former Mainz and Borussia Dortmund man Abdou Diallo has the unenviable task of trying to stop Bayern No.10 Sane. Alessandro Florenzi is the preferred option on the opposite flank, but has to settle for a place on the bench after only returning to training this past weekend. The same applies to Marco Verratti, meaning Idrissa Gueye partners the returning Leandro Paredes in central midfield. Germany international Julian Draxler started at the Allianz Arena, and continues alongside Neymar and Angel Di Maria in an attacking three behind Kylian Mbappe sure to be feeling the weight of PSG's past Champions League knockout exists against the likes of Chelsea, Barcelona and Manchester United.
