FULL-TIME! DORTMUND ARE OUT!

It was always going to be a tough ask, and for a moment it looked as if Dortmund could do it, but Rangers' second goal was a real knockout blow. It ends 2-2 in Glasgow on the night, 6-4 on aggregate. Focus on the Bundesliga now for BVB.

90'
vs

KENT VS. KOBEL

The Rangers winger is still full of running, but still can't find a way past Kobel, who makes a comfortable save from Kent's low shot.

88'
vs

THE H FACTOR

You can only wonder what a difference Erling Haaland would have made to Dortmund in this game and the tie.

87'
vs

DORTMUND PRESSING...

But Rangers are defending well, even better in the second half than they did in the first, and it's frustrating Dortmund.

84'
vs

REUS LIMPING

Even worse news for Dortmund: the captain is limping heavily, and signals to the bench that he needs to come off. It looks like it'll be Axel Witsel who'll replace him. This game could have even wider consequences than merely seeing BVB knocked out of Europe.

81'
vs

MOUKOKO...OVER THE BAR!

Reus runs in behind, really drills in a cross, and Moukoko watches his header sail over the crossbar. That was a chance, not an easy one, but still...the clock is ticking for BVB.

77'
vs

SUPER-SUB TIGGES??

The young striker has three goals in nine Bundesliga appearances off the bench this season. In fact, his goals have come every 34 minutes on the pitch. He's got just about 15 minutes to do something here to save Dortmund after replacing Malen.

74'
vs

KENT...DOESN'T HAVE THE LEGS

Malen's pass is intercepted by Bassey and another Dortmund slip allows Kent to race clear...Schulz is sprinting back...Kent's in the clear, but puts in a heavy touch...and Schulz is quick enough to get there and snuff out the danger. How crucial could that be?

72'
vs

MOUKOKO FIRES...WIDE

The youngster, who has just come off the bench for Brandt doesn't have a lot of options, so goes for goal, but his direction is off, and McGregor can watch the ball roll harmlessly across the penalty area.

71'
vs

WOLF FORCES A SAVE!

The half-time substitute gets forward, cuts inside from the right and fires low from 20 yards. McGregor is down quickly to his left to push the ball away.

70'
vs

TWENTY MINUTES TO GO

Dortmund need a goal soon, but it's Rangers who are on top right now. Marco Rose brings on Reinier for Hazard, Kamara replaces Arfield for the hosts.

66'
vs

WAIT A MINUTE....

VAR calls the Spanish referee over to the screen. Morelos catches the leg of Can as the Dortmund man goes to kick the ball, and the goal is chalked off. So it's still 2-2, 6-4 to Rangers on aggregate.

65'
vs

GOAL!! KENT STRIKES!!!

Can turns to play the ball back to Kobel from just inside the Dortmund half, Morelos bursts forward...draws Kobel and then slips the ball to Kent to walk into the net and that's 3-2 on the night, 7-4 on aggregate.

62'
vs

REUS....NO!!

Bellingham, who has been superb again, slips a pass into the run of his captain...Reus rounds McGregor but - off balance - cannot quite turn the ball goalwards from an acute angle.

60'
vs

IBROX IS JUMPING!

Literally!

57'
vs

GOAL!! TAVERNIER GIVES RANGERS BREATHING SPACE!

Bassey does brilliantly to get away from Brandt and Wolf down the Rangers left...Hummels air-kicks when he tries to clear the cross...and Tavernier arriving at the back post!! Volleys past Kobel, who had no chance at all, and Dortmund now have to score twice again to force extra-time.

55'
vs

KOBEL AGAIN!!!

Kent cuts in from the left...slips as he goes to shoot..the ball falls for Morelos...LOW DRIVE!! Kobel down to block. The Rangers forward gestures to the crowd to up the volume - the hosts are pressing. Dortmund need to be strong.

50'
vs

MORELOS SIGHT OF GOAL

He's not had a lot of opportunity to trouble Kobel, but the Rangers forward dances in from the right, and fires low at the near post - the Dortmund keeper isn't caught out and turns it behind.

46'
vs

HALF-TIME CHANGES

Wolf for Meunier for Dortmund, Balogun for Barisic for Rangers.

46'
vs

SECOND HALF KICKS OFF

Back underway at Ibrox. What a 45 minutes in prospect.

vs

HALF-TIME

Rangers are going through as things stand, but Dortmund ended the half very much on top. They won't have Meunier in the second half though as he is helped from the pitch by two of the Dortmund staff - bad news for Borussia fans and their Belgian defender.

44'
vs

MEUNIER CHANCE

The full-back gets in front of his man to meet a cross and turn it goalwards - McGregor makes the save though and it looks like Meunier might have injured himself.

44'
vs

MALEN AGAIN?????

Schulz comes forward down the left and slips the ball to the feet of Malen...cuts inside...and drags his shot wide of the target. That was a great chance to level things up on aggregate before the break.

42'
vs

MALEN!!!!!! 1-2!!!!

The ball comes in from the right...it comes all the way across to Brandt...there's a flick from Bellingham, it drops for Malen who - with the outside of his right boot - strokes it past McGregor and it's 5-4 on aggregate now. And now it's getting very very interesting!

39'
vs

THE NEXT GOAL...

will be absolutely crucial. If Dortmund get it, surely they'll ride that wave to get another and tie it up on aggregate. If Rangers score, it'll be so tough for BVB to bounce back again.

37'
vs

WASTED CHANCE

A careless pass from Dahoud allows Rangers to counter-attack, but the hosts don't make the most of it.

36'
vs

AND MCGREGOR SAVES RANGERS

Dortmund go up the other end, and Malen smashes a shot at the near post that McGregor does well to keep out. This game is now very much ON!!!

34'
vs

KOBEL SAVES DORTMUND

The ball breaks kindly for Arfield, who sees Kobel block his shot with a leg...Morelos smashes the follow-up goalwards, it strikes Hummels and it flies to safety. Massive left-off for Dortmund.

32'
vs

MEUNIER, NO DAMAGE DONE

The Belgium international stumbles and crashes into Barisic's knee. Total accident, and fortunately after a little treatment, Meunier can continue.

30'
vs

BELLINGHAM GETS ONE BACK!!

Malen plays the ball into the box, Goldson can only deflect the ball into the path of Bellingham, who stabs a shot past McGregor and Dortmund have a lifeline.

25'
vs

BRANDT DENIED!!

Dortmund attack down the left...Bellingham lunges to send the ball across to Brandt, who smashes a rising shot goalwards, but McGregor sticks a hand up to turn the effort away. Great stop!

24'
vs

WHAT NOW?

Marco Rose's side need to score three without reply now just to force extra-time.

22'
vs

TAVERNIER PUTS RANGERS AHEAD!

The Rangers captain scored from the spot to open the scoring in the first leg...and smashes his spot-kick high past Kobel. It went right down the middle actually, the Dortmund keeper diving to his right, and Rangers are now 5-2 ahead on aggregate.

19'
vs

PENALTY!!

Ryan Kent cuts in from the right, and after turning away from Meunier, Brandt trips the Rangers winger just INSIDE the penalty area...

18'
vs

MALEN CHANCE!

Marco Reus finds his strike partner on the edge of the area, Malen spins and fires goalwards - that wasn't too far wide.

17'
vs

THORGAN HAZARD-OUS

The Belgium international weaves in from the right and fires goal wards - deflected behind for another Brandt corner that Rangers deal with. They can't get past Aribo at the near post.

16'
vs

BRANDT DELIVERY

The Dortmund man sees his corner cleared at the near post...he'll get a second opportunity...same result. Barring that Bellingham opportunity, Dortmund haven't created too much.

12'
vs

RYAN KENT, RING A BELL?

Bundesliga fans may remember the Rangers winger from his loan spell at Freiburg in the first half of the 2017/18 season. He was at Liverpool at the time, and didn't play against Dortmund.

10'
vs

DORTMUND DOMINATING

The visitors have enjoyed nearly two-thirds possession in the opening 10 minutes. Rangers are yet to trouble Kobel.

7'
vs

RANGERS PUSHING BACK

The blue-shirted hosts are getting into the game now after making a slow start.

3'
vs

OH JUDE!!!

A cross comes in from the left, Hummels is so close to getting his head to it from point-blank range...Bellingham at the back post sticks out a foot, and strikes the post! Rangers were snoozing, and Dortmund very nearly halved their deficit.

3'
vs

IT'S BEEN DONE BEFORE

In the UEFA Cup third round in the 1999/2000 season, Dortmund lost 2-0 to Rangers in the first leg in Scotland before winning out in a penalty shoot-out in the second leg at home.

1'
vs

TWO GOALS NEEDED...AT LEAST

Dortmund trail 4-2 from the first leg, so need to be two goals ahead after 90 minutes to force extra-time. Remember, the away goals rule has been abolished.
