Robert Lewandowski has returned to first-team training with Bayern Munich, six weeks after injuring his knee during his side's 3-0 win over Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League.
Lewandowski scored his competition-high 11th goal as Bayern picked up a 3-0 advantage in the first leg of their last 16 clash at Stamford Bridge, laying on the other two for Serge Gnabry.
Although he saw the game out, tests later confirmed that the Poland captain had injured his left knee and he was ruled out for the following four weeks, with his comeback projected to be the Klassiker meeting with Borussia Dortmund on Matchday 28.

That blockbuster meeting has been postponed, as have all others in the Bundesliga, in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Bayern have returned to training but with strict measures such as doing drills in pairs.
The return of 25-goal top scorer Lewandowski - who had never previously missed three Bundesliga games in a row - will be a welcome one indeed for Bayern fans, regardless of when exactly action resumes.
