Robert Lewandowski is in a league of his own, according to Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold, who says he has been blown away by the Bayern Munich striker's goal-scoring form.
Lewandowski became the first player to win a Bundesliga, DFB Cup and UEFA Champions League treble, whilst finishing as top scorer in each competition in 2019/20.
The 32-year-old totalled 55 goals in 47 competitive games, including 15 in Europe as Bayern dethroned Liverpool in the Champions League, and has already hit 13 in 11 matches so far this season.

Lewandowski was recently named UEFA's Player of the Year for his prolific efforts, and Trent Alexander-Arnold is in no doubt Bayern's irrepressible No.9 would have claimed the Ballon d'Or, had the award not been cancelled due to the cornavirus pandemic.
"That was probably a bit unjust," Alexander-Arnold told goal.com. "I'm sure he'll be disappointed because not many players in this era can say they've won it except for [Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo].
"But he knows what he's achieved, amazing things, so many trophies. His numbers are scary. Over the last 10 years, there's only really been him and [Luis] Suarez, as strikers, who have come close to [Messi and Ronaldo] in terms of numbers, consistency.
"Lewandowski is an unbelievable player, and to be posting those numbers at his age is an amazing achievement. He's setting an example for strikers in Europe to try and follow."
The numbers don't lie. Prior to the November international break, Lewandowski equalled his own record of scoring 11 goals in the first seven games of a league season, like in 2019/20, with his strike in the 3-2 win over former club Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker.
If he continues to fire at his current clip of 2.17 goals per 90 minutes, the Bayern forward will smash Gerd Müller's long-standing record for most goals in a single Bundesliga campaign (40 in 1971/72).
In the meantime, Messi and Co. have a serious job on their hands to catch the most prolific goalscorer across Europe's top five leagues over the last two years.
Lewandowski scored 48 times in as many games in 2019, and is on 38 deep into 2020 with up to nine competitive fixtures remaining for the Pole to add to his continent-leading tally before the winter break.
The 2020 Ballon d'Or may have been mothballed, but Lewandowski is a shoo-in to win the FIFA Best Player Award off Messi.
