Lewandowski back in training
Bayern Munich have confirmed that striker Robert Lewandowski has returned to full training after undergoing groin surgery last month.
The 31-year-old went under the knife immediately after Bayern's 2-0 victory over Wolfsburg on Matchday 17 to correct a persistent complaint.
The operation was a success, but the striker, who was recently named in UEFA's official Team of the Year for 2019 and currently leads the Bundesliga scoring chart with 19 goals, missed Bayern's annual winter training camp in Doha as he worked on his recovery individually in Munich.

On Wednesday the club provided the welcome news that Lewandowski was back on the training pitch and able to complete the full 90-minute session with his teammates. He showed no ill-effects of the surgery, with a club statement reporting that he "didn't duck out of challenges".
Eager to return to top form as soon as possible, the Poland international also put in an extra shift by himself afterwards.
Bayern resume their title defence this weekend with a trip to Jürgen Klinsmann's Hertha Berlin side as they look to close the four-point gap on current leaders RB Leipzig.
It is not yet known whether Lewandowski will be available for the game, although his operation was strategically planned over the winter break to minimise any potential absence.
