Matchday 1: Borussia Mönchengladbach 0-0 Schalke

Weston McKennie and Co. huffed and puffed but there was to be no way through for Schalke at Gladbach.

Matchday 2: Schalke 0-3 Bayern Munich

Robert Lewandowski scored a hat-trick as Bayern took all three points from Schalke's first home game of the campaign.

Matchday 3: Schalke 3-0 Hertha Berlin

Schalke finally got off the mark in 2019/20, registering their first Bundesliga goals and first win of the season in a 3-0 victory at home to Hertha with Jonjoe Kenny becoming the first Royal Blue to find the back of the net.

Matchday 4: Paderborn 1-5 Schalke

A brace from Harit, as well as goals from Salif Sane, Suat Serdar and Ahmed Kutucu, saw Schalke come from a goal down at promoted Paderborn and move up to sixth in the table after four Matchdays.

Harit scored a sensational late winner as Schalke saw off a spirited Mainz to go temporarily joint-top of the Bundesliga table.

Matchday 6: RB Leipzig 1-3 Schalke

A goal and assist from Harit - as well as Rabbi Matondo's first Bundesliga goal - helped Schalke to a convincing 3-1 win at Leipzig, who suffered their first defeat of the campaign.

Matchday 7: Schalke 1-1 Cologne

Jonas Hector and Cologne denied Schalke the chance to go top of the Bundesliga table with a stoppage-time equaliser to grab a 1-1 draw at the Veltins-Arena.

Matchday 8: Hoffenheim 2-0 Schalke

Second-half goals from Andrej Kramaric and Ihlas Bebou saw Hoffenheim beat Schalke 2-0 and deny the Royal Blues the chance to move top of the Bundesliga table.

Schalke pulled into the UEFA Champions League places with a 2-0 win over Werder Bremen. Harit and Benito Raman got the goals for David Wagner's side at the Weser Stadion.

Matchday 13: Schalke 2-1 Union Berlin

Serdar came to Schalke's rescue late on against Union Berlin, netting in the closing stages to give Wagner's side a 2-1 victory in the Matchday 13 opener.

Matchday 14: Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 Schalke

Lucas Alario scored twice as in-form Leverkusen edged Schalke, putting an end to the Royal Blues' five-game unbeaten run.

Matchday 15: Schalke 1-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Raman scored in a fourth consecutive Bundesliga game to hand 10-man Schalke a narrow 1-0 victory at home to Frankfurt, keeping them above Bayern in fourth in the standings.

A game of two halves in Wolfsburg could not see the Wolves and Schalke separated at the Volkswagen Arena after goals from Ozan Kabak and Kevin Mbabu.
