Goals: 0-1 Bazee (22'), 0-2 Handwerker (45')
Red card: Kersken 70'

Noah Sarenren Bazee scored his second of the campaign to get the ball rolling for the visitors while Tim Handwerker's fine free-kick doubled Bielefeld's lead. It's two wins from two for the first time in nine years for Hannover as Christian Titz masterminded a superb away win against Düsseldorf. The home side dominated possession in the opening exchanges but came undone time and again thanks to the visitors' direct approach. Kaiserslautern 1-0 Schalke
Goals: 1-0
Ritter (pen. 55’)

Kaiserslautern took maximum points from the weekend’s headline fixture thanks to Marlon Ritter’s second-half penalty. Aside from a chance for Daniel Hanslik in the second minute that Loris Karius did well to parry past the post, chances were few and far between in a first half dominated by the hosts. Their pressure took its toll early in the second period when Hanslik was fouled by Ron Schallenberg, with Ritter coolly sending Karius the wrong way from the spot to get the Red Devils their first points of the season.

Goals: 0-1 Hugonet 28', 1-1 Daferner 44', 1-2 Kaars 45'+1

Magdeburg are up and running with their first win in Bundesliga 2 this season, but the hosts will be kicking themselves for not picking up a maiden point in 2025/26. Jean Hugonet was in the right place at the right time to head the visitors in front, but Christoph Daferner restored parity for Dynamo with a tap-in as half-time approached. After suffering a surprise home loss to Braunschweig last weekend, Magdeburg were determined to make amends in this Eastern derby and barely had the dust settled on Dresden’s leveller when Martijn Kaars netted what would prove to be the winning goal.

Goals: 1-0 Sissoko (66'), 2-0 Holtmann (90'+1)
Red card: Gyamerah 6'

Despite their numerical advantage, Bochum couldn't break down their stubborn opponents until after the hour mark, when Ibrahima Sissoko reacted quickly to poke home the opener. Elversberg were 1-0 winners against Nuremberg last weekend but they couldn't manage to find the equaliser, despite their best efforts. Instead, it was veteran Gerrit Holtmann who delivered the decisive strike off the bench to get Dieter Hecking's team up and running.
