Jude Bellingham was among the goals as Borussia Dortmund consolidated second place in UEFA Champions League Group G with a commanding 4-1 win at Sevilla.

Sevilla 1-4 Borussia Dortmund
Goals: 0-1 Guerreiro 6' (assist: Bellingham), 0-2 Bellingham 41' (assist: Özcan), 0-3 Adeyemi 43' (assist: Moukoko), 1-3 En-Nesyri 51' (assist: Alex Telles), 1-4 Brandt 75' (assist: Moukoko)

Captaining Dortmund for the second time in as many games in the absence of Marco Reus, Bellingham was the architect of Dortmund's opening goal just six minutes in. The 19-year-old sprayed a stunning cross-field ball into the path of Raphael Guerreiro, who took aim from inside the area and fired home with the aid of a deflection. Alexander Meyer had to be alert to stop Youssef En-Nesyri equalising when one-on-one, with the Sevilla striker later having a red card overturned following consultation with the VAR. Youssoufa Moukoko had a shot charged down and Thomas Meunier blazed over on the rebound, before Meyer was called on once more to thwart En-Nesyri. Bellingham punished Jose Carmona's inability to turn in the ensuing corner with a stunning strike into the far corner. Less than two minutes later, Karim Adeyemi drove home on the rebound after Moukoko's initial shot had been saved.

Dortmund had the chance to add to their lead late in the first half, but Julian Brandt was off target when well placed in front of goal. Sevilla showed glimpses of fighting spirit early in the second period as En-Nesyri powered in a header from a corner to reduce the arrears. Yassine Bounou prevented Moukoko from restoring BVB's three-goal cushion from the restart, and was grateful to see the lively striker blaze over soon after. Substitute Donyell Malen shot wide from a tight angle, before Dortmund made the game safe. Moukoko was given all the time in the world to chip a cross onto the head of Julian Brandt, who glanced into the far corner, with the keeper rooted to the spot. Malen passed up the opportunity to add a fifth, while Meyer pushed Kasper Dolberg's unorthodox overhead attempt onto the woodwork in an entertaining finale. The win takes Dortmund five points clear of Sevilla ahead of next week's return fixture on home soil.
