The DFL (Deutsche Fußball Liga) and AWS (Amazon Web Services) announced a new metric for Matchday 10: Shot Speed. And now the data is in.

Shot speed is the 15th Bundesliga Match Fact (BMF) powered by AWS, and measures one of the crucial factors that can help a player beat a goalkeeper to score.

In live blogs and the app, shot speed is shown on a goal card when it reaches more than 70 km/h.

The fastest goal of the weekend was Anton Stach's for Hoffenheim in their 3-2 loss to league leaders Bayer Leverkusen, which clocked (113 km/h). It was a stunning strike from the midfielder, who was also 41 metres out when he caught Lukáš Hrádecký off his line 56 minutes into the game.

Distance to goal is also a new Match Fact that is shown.

Harry Kane was among the top five on Matchday 10. Bayern Munich's new star striker scored a hat-trick as they beat Borussia Dortmund 4-0 in Der Klassiker, and the third of those goals, Bayern's fourth, flew past Gregor Kobel at 109 km/h three minutes into injury time.
