Olmo fires Spain into Euros final
RB Leipzig's Dani Olmo scored the winning goal as Spain came from behind to beat France and reach the Euro 2024 final.

Winners on penalties against Portugal in the previous round, France had reached the last four without scoring from open play. That changed with just eight minutes on the clock, when Kylian Mbappé crossed for former Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randall Kolo Muani to head home at the back post. Spain responded brilliantly, though, scoring twice in the space of four first-half minutes. Lamine Yamal found top bins with a gorgeous 18-yard strike, before Olmo skilfully found the bottom corner off the unwitting Jules Koundé. France left-back Theo Hernández blazed over when well placed, while Yamal fired off target following another trademark inside run. Mbappé spurned a chance of his own making with the clock ticking down as Spain advanced to face Harry Kane's England in the final in Berlin on 14 July.
