Mitigation of the Coronavirus: The DFL supports the action of the Federal Ministry of Health, together with the clubs of the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2.

19.03.2020 - In the fight against coronavirus, the containment of the virus has top priority. The need to limit social contact is illustrated by the nationwide campaign #stayathome from the Federal Ministry of Health. The message: those who protect themselves also protect others! In this case, to distance oneself spatially means even more: cohesion. It is important to stay at home to protect the elderly, the sick and the weak.

It is also important for the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga as a union of the clubs of the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2, to support the campaign. While play is currently suspended in both leagues, numerous professional players are expressing this through video messages. The videos are published on the social media channels of the Bundesliga and the respective clubs. No question: #stayathome
