The season so far in numbers

129 – Granit Xhaka has scored with the most powerful shot on goal in the campaign to date. Bayer Leverkusen's Swiss machine wowed with a Matchday 1 strike at former club Borussia Mönchengladbach that clocked in at 80.1 miles per hour (mp/h). 

36.8 – On matchday 13, Heidenheim's Sirlord Conteh was measured with a top speed of 22.8 mp/h, a record since data began being collected 2011/12.

1.9 – Kingsley Coman scored on Matchday 8 with a goal that had the lowest expected goals value of this Bundesliga season (1.9 per cent).

37 – The amount of goals that were scored on the last matchday before the winter break, making it the highest-scoring matchday of the season so far! 

75 – Bayern only conceded 75 shots on goal in the first 15 matchdays. Not since data collection began in 1992/93 have there been so few conceded by a team up to this point.

13 – Vincent Kompany is only the third head coach in Bundesliga history to remain undefeated in his first 13 Bundesliga games. Only Pep Guardiola (28 games) and Karl-Heinz Feldkamp (14 games) previously achieved the feat.

1 – Newcomers Holstein Kiel have picked up many firsts in 2024/25.  Over the course of the season so far, the Storks' scored their maiden goal in the division (on Matchday 1 via Alexander Bernhardsson), picked up their first top-flight point (in a 2-2 draw against Bochum on Matchday 4) and a first win (1-0 against Heidenheim on Matchday 9).

7 – Omar Marmoush, Vincenzo Grifo, Florian Wirtz and Marvin Ducksch are the current top assist providers in the Bundesliga with seven each.

350 – Thomas Müller celebrated his 350th Bundesliga victory in the 5-1 win against Leipzig on Matchday 15. He became the first player in history to reach this mark.

445 – The amount of goals scored on the first 15 Matchdays of 2024/25. That was six fewer than at the same time last year (451). The goal average was 3.3, which is over three goals per game for the seventh year in a row.

8 – RB Leipzig remained unbeaten in the first eight Bundesliga matchdays for the first time in the club's history and also boast the best points total in their history at this point of a season (20 points).

9 – Mainz remained unbeaten in nine away games in the Bundesliga until matchday 11 - a new club record.

10 – Heidenheim are winless in 10 league games and only picked up one point during this unwanted run. Frank Schmidt's men have never experienced a longer negative streak in the Bundesliga, Bundesliga 2 or even in the third tier. 

10 – Borussia Dortmund have won all of their last 10 opening-day matches, extending their record run.

16 - Thomas Müller scored at least one goal in the 16th Bundesliga season in a row, equalling a Bundesliga record. The feat was previously achieved by six players, including Mats Hummels, Olaf Thon and Michael Zorc.

24 – Leverkusen have scored at least one goal in their last 24 away games in the Bundesliga - a current club record.

35 – On matchday 2, Bayer 04 lost to Leipzig, their first defeat in 35 Bundesliga games. It ended the third longest series in Bundesliga history.

164 – There has always been at least one goal scored in Bayern's last 164 Bundesliga games. This is a current Bundesliga record. The last 0-0 draw was against RB Leipzig in February 2020. 

275 – Union Berlin's Kevin Vogt converted his first penalty in his 341st Bundesliga game on Matchday 6 and ended the longest goal drought by an outfield player in Bundesliga history. Vogt had previously been goalless for 275 Bundesliga games, or almost 10 years.

3 – Werder Bremen won on Matchday 5 after coming from three goals down (4:3 after 0:3 in Hoffenheim) for the first time in their Bundesliga history.

4 – On the last matchday before the winter break, Leverkusen's Patrik Schick scored four goals in the same game, the first time a player has managed  this since he himself did it against Greuther Fürth in December 2021.  

7 – Harry Kane scored his seventh hat-trick in his 43rd Bundesliga game on matchday 11. The previous record holder for trebles was Dieter Müller, who needed 123 games to achieve Kane's feat.

9 – The highest-scoring game of the season (7-2) was on matchday 9 between Eintracht Frankfurt and VfL Bochum. It was also the biggest win of the season.

13 – Omar Marmoush has 13 goals after 15 matchdays this season. Only Theofanis Gekas previously managed such numbers in an Eintracht Frankfurt jersey (also 13 goals in 2010/11).

15 – Jamal Musiala scored after 15 seconds against Holstein Kiel on Matchday 3 – the fastest goal of the season and the third fastest in Bayern's Bundesliga history. Musiala also scored the second fastest goal of the season (after 29 seconds on Matchday 15 against Leipzig).

33 – Jonathan Burkardt scored his 33rd Bundesliga goal for Mainz on Matchday 13. In doing so, the Germany international moved level with Karim Onisiwo at the top of the 05er's all-time goalscorer list.

41 – Harry Kane scored his 41st Bundesliga goal on Matchday 4 and has since become the record English goalscorer in the Bundesliga (overtaking Jadon Sancho). 

47 – Bayern are the highest scorers in the season to date with 47 goals. There have only been three times more goals were scored by a team after 15 match days, including when Bayern managed it last season (48 goals).

474 – Bayern's Müller played his 474th Bundesliga game on Matchday 1 and has since become the Bavarians' record appearance holder in the league.

18 – On Matchday 1, Paul Wanner became Heidenheim's youngest Bundesliga player and goalscorer (18 years, 246 days) and just one Matchday later, he became the youngest scorer of a penalty in Bundesliga history (18 years, 253 days). Wanner is also the youngest goalscorer this season.

289 – Rasmus Kristensen was Eintracht Frankfurt's 289th different goalscorer in the Bundesliga on Matchday 15 - a Bundesliga record.

16 – Leipzig's Faik Sakar was the only 16-year-old to play in the Bundesliga this season and as a result the youngest player to have appeared in the current campaign.

38 – Anthony Losilla became the oldest outfield player in Bochum's Bundesliga history this season (he replaced Michael Lameck). On his latest appearance on Matchday 15, Losilla was 38 years and 287 days old.

100 – Alphonso Davies celebrated his 100th win in his 144th Bundesliga game on Matchday 10. Only Mario Götze, David Alaba and Georg 'Katsche' Schwarzenbeck reached this mark at an even younger age than the Canadian, who did so at 24 years and seven days.

250 - Stuttgart celebrated a 250th away win in their Bundesliga history on Matchday 3. The Swabians are the sixth club in Bundesliga history to reach this mark.

300 – St.Pauli scored their 300th Bundesliga goal in a 3-0 win in Freiburg on Matchday 5.

350 – Manuel Neuer played his 350th Bundesliga game for Bayern on Matchday 6.

700 – Eintracht became the first club in Bundesliga history to suffer their 700th defeat on Matchday 14.

750 - Bayern celebrated their 750th victory in the 1008th Bundesliga home game (on Matchday 7 in a 4-0 win against Stuttgart).
