Thomas Müller picked up his 300th Bundesliga win as Bayern Munich beat Augsburg on Saturday, joining Manuel Neuer and Oliver Kahn in an elite group of players to have reached the landmark.
Müller got another 90 minutes under his belt as Bayern beat their Bavarian rivals 1-0 thanks to a Robert Lewandowski penalty, the champions reopening their nine-point advantage over Borussia Dortmund at the top of the Bundesliga standings.
"The 300th win wasn't a spectacular one," Müller told the Bayern website after the final whistle. "It was a tough game today, but we deserved the win in the second half. It was a huge step towards winning the title. I hope I'll be able to pick up a few more wins too."
Müller is also the only one of the three players to have recorded all of his Bundesliga victories in a Bayern jersey, with goalkeepers Neuer (313 wins) and Kahn (310) having turned out for Schalke and Karlsruhe respectively before joining Bayern.
“Congratulations to him, he’s an amazing player," teammate Jamal Musiala told bundesliga.com after the final whistle. "He's an idol for many players and someone you can look up to. It’s an amazing achievement. Not many players can reach that milestone. It’s amazing to see and be part of it.”

The win also saw Joshua Kimmich record his 150th Bundesliga victory it what was just his 196th outing in the German top flight. Only Arjen Robben had previously reached that landmark in so few games.
"Of course, it makes you proud," Kimmich said after the final whistle. "You can tell I'm playing in the best team in Germany, otherwise it wouldn't be possible to collect so many wins in so short a time. I hope there'll be more to come."
