Bundesliga
Bayern Munich will play either Barcelona or Napoli in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals - assuming they get past Chelsea - whilst RB Leipzig have been drawn against Atletico Madrid.
UEFA have previously announced that the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will be played with a single-leg format between 12-23 August at Lisbon's Estadio da Luz and Estadio Jose Alvalade.
Bayern will, however, play the return leg of their fixture with Chelsea at the Allianz Arena in Munich; German football having been a paragon of how to reintroduce competitive football following the coronavirus pandemic.
Bayern already have one foot in the quarter-finals having beaten Chelsea 3-0 in the first leg of their last 16 tie in February. Serge Gnabry struck twice at Stamford Bridge, whilst Robert Lewandowski scored his competition-leading 11th goal.
Assuming Bayern see out the victory, they will then travel to the Finals competition in Portugal and the stage of the competition Leipzig have already qualified for having previously secured a 4-0 aggregate victory over 2019 runners up Tottenham Hotspur.
Bayern are five-time European champions, most recently winning the competition in 2013; Leipzig are enjoying their second ever Champions League campaign.
