2024/25

Now in his fourth full season with Gladbach, Scally is continuing as Gerardo Seoane's first-choice right-back in 2024/25.

Last matchday

Scally played the full 90 minutes as Gladbach were on the wrong end of a seven-goal thriller in Kiel on Matchday 31.

Gio Reyna

Club: Borussia Dortmund
Position: Attacking midfielder

Reyna is back at Dortmund after spending the second half of last season on loan at English Premier League outfit Nottingham Forest.

Lennard Maloney
Club: Heidenheim (joined Mainz on 21 January 2025)

Formerly of Dortmund, Maloney quickly became a midfield mainstay and fan favourite at Heidenheim, before switching to Mainz during the January transfer window.

Last matchday

Maloney was an unused substitute as Mainz were beaten 3-0 in Munich on Matchday 31.

Maloney swapped Heidenheim for Mainz in the winter transfer window.

Kevin Paredes
Club: Wolfsburg
Position: Winger

2024/25

Paredes scored three goals in 28 Bundesliga appearances for Wolfsburg in 2023/24, but missed the start of the new campaign with a foot problem. He made his first appearance of the campaign on Matchday 30.

The left winger made the starting XI again as Wolfsburg were beaten at home by Freiburg on Matchday 31.

Kevin Paredes has finally returned to action with Wolfsburg.

James Sands
Club: St. Pauli

After two shorts stints with Rangers in Scotland, Sands made his third trip abroad on a temporary basis from New York City FC in January. His presence gives Alexander Blessin another option as they look to beat the drop.

Sands suffered a serious ankle injury on Matchday 22 against Freiburg and has been ruled out for an indefinite period of time. 

James Sands joined St. Pauli on loan in January.

Having played four seasons for New York Red Bulls, and being named an MLS All-Star in 2023, the left-back who goes by the name JMi switched to Kiel in January 2025 with the newly promoted side locked in a battle to retain their Bundesliga status.

Tolkin started as Kiel claimed a vital and thrilling 4-3 win at home to Gladbach on Matchday 31 but left the field in the first half after sustaining an injury.

Club: Dortmund

Born in Houston, Texas, Campbell joined the BVB youth academy in July 2022. He was promoted to the first-team squad in summer 2024 and after being an unused substitute on Bundesliga Matchdays 6 and 7 - as well as away to Real Madrid in the Champions League - he made his debut on Matchday 8.

Campbell was not included in Dortmund's Matchday 31 squad for the win at Hoffenheim.

Noakhai Banks

Having joined Augsburg in 2015, Banks was first included in the Augsburg first-team squad against Freiburg in October. He had to wait three months for his first appearance, but he has since been a member of Jess Thorup's plans ever since, putting in some solid performances for his age.

Banks was not in the matchday squad for Augsburg's defeat at Leverkusen on Matchday 31 due to a thigh injury.

Noakhai Banks broke into the Augsburg first-team squad earlier this season.

Timothy Chandler
Club: Eintracht Frankfurt
Position: Full-back
Age: 35 (born 29 March, 1990)

Chandler is in his 11th - and possibly final - season with Frankfurt. A bit-part player last term, the veteran full-back's existing contract expires in summer 2025.

Timothy Chandler has been on the books of Frankfurt - the city of his birth - since July 2014.
