Matches between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich have shaped the Bundesliga over the last decade, and now you can relive one of the most crucial Klassikers in recent history from the 2011/12 season.

You can watch the entire 90 minutes from the dramatic encounter just below, kicking off at 5pm CEST/4pm BST/11am ET today:

Coming into Matchday 30, defending champions Dortmund were just three points clear of second-placed Bayern with five games remaining. Victory for Jupp Heynckes’ side at the Signal Iduna Park would move the record champions top on goal difference, while Jürgen Klopp’s charges could open up a six-point lead, all but ending the title race and securing a second straight Meisterschale.

Both teams were at full strength coming into the midweek fixture in front of over 80,000 fans in Dortmund.

BVB had top scorer Robert Lewandowski leading the line, with legendary goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller behind the familiar defence of Lukasz Piszczek, Neven Subotic, Mats Hummels and Marcel Schmelzer. Captain Sebastian Kehl anchored the midfield alongside Ilkay Gündogan behind playmaker Shinji Kagawa. Jakub Blaszczykowski and Kevin Großkreutz occupied the wings.

Bayern began with four players who still feature for the club today in Manuel Neuer, Jerome Boateng, David Alaba and Thomas Müller. Legendary wing duo Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery supported central striker Mario Gomez. Captain Philipp Lahm and Holger Badstuber completed the back line, with Toni Kroos and Luiz Gustavo looking to control the midfield.
