Ivan Mihaljevic, Sarpreet Singh and Ryan Johansson (from l.) are three of the Bayern Munich youngsters with the first team in the USA.

Bayern Munich head coach Niko Kovac has included eight members of the club's youth teams to travel with the senior squad on their tour to the USA this month for International Champions Cup matches against Arsenal, Real Madrid and AC Milan. But who are they?

But who are they and where do they play? bundesliga.com lifts the lid on the teenagers hoping to make a splash Stateside in friendlies against Arsenal, Real Madrid and AC Milan.

Maximilian Zaiser

Age: 20
Country: Germany
Position: Central midfield

Now in his seventh year at Bayern, Zaiser made 12 league appearances for the U23s last season and has been earmarked to stay with the side this term after helping them win promotion to the third division last season. He was among the travelling party with the first team in the US last year.

Zaiser has already featured for the Bayern first team in friendlies, such as this one against Hamburg in August 2018.

Louis Poznanski

Age: 18
Country: Germany
Position: Left-back

Poznanski was born and raised in Bremen, but after six years spent rising up through Werder's youth academy he joined Bayern in January 2018. He helped the club's U17s top the Bundesliga south/southwest last year, but was plagued by injury in his first full season with the U19s. Poznanski made nine appearances in total last term, scoring one goal.

Sarpreet Singh

Age: 20
Country: New Zealand
Position: Attacking midfield

The newest member on Bayern's books, Singh arrived from Wellington Phoenix over the summer and is the first New Zealander to don the club's shirt. The 20-year-old featured 27 times in Australia's A-League last season, scoring five and providing seven assists. He is already a full international, having earned four senior caps for New Zealand.

Singh receives a bear hug from Bayern Munich U23 teammate Joshua Zirkzee (l.) after scoring in a friendly in July.

Daniels Ontuzans

Age: 19
Country: Latvia
Position: Attacking midfield

Ontuzans has struggled with injury of late, but it is a sign of his undoubted promise that he is already part of Bayern's U23 squad. Agile, quick and technically brilliant, the Vangazi native is a real handful in the final third and made his full international debut for Latvia in a UEFA European Championship qualifier against Slovenia on 10 June.

Ryan Johansson

Age: 18
Country: Luxembourg
Position: Midfielder / winger

Johansson is the son of a Swedish father and an Irish mother and, in addition to representing both of those countries at youth level, he has also laced his boots for Luxembourg's U21 side. A versatile midfielder able to play in the middle of the pitch or out wide, Johansson was with Zaiser in Bayern's squad for their US visit in 2018. He joined the record German champions in 2017 from FC Metz and registered one goal and three assists in 19 U19 Bundesliga outings in 2018/19.

Angelo Stiller

Age: 18
Country: Germany
Position: Defensive midfield

A Munich native, Stiller has been at Bayern since 2010 and has played in every youth category at the club. A central midfielder who is composed on the ball and with excellent passing, he made 31 outings for the U19s last season, chipping in with two goals and seven assists across all competitions.

A Munich native, Stiller has been at Bayern since he was 9.

Ivan Mihaljevic

Age: 18
Country: Germany / Croatia
Position: Centre-back

Munich born and raised, Mihaljevic is a relatively recent addition to the Bayern stable, having only switched from the city's lower-league side Unterhaching last year. The towering 6'3'' left-footer made nine outings for Bayern's U19s last season and has also represented the Croatia U19s.

Jonas Kehl
Age: 18
Country: Germany
Position: Right-back

In light of Bayern's history with producing top-class right-backs – just look at Philipp Lahm and Joshua Kimmich – there is arguably no better place for Kehl to develop. And he evidently has a special talent given that he is entering into his fifth season at the club. The youngster played 10 times for the U19s last season while completing his studies for his Abitur, the German school-leaving certificate.
