Key stats
Born on 29 February 2000, Lindstrøm is a leap baby. While he may technically only have had six actual birthdays, he's nevertheless had plenty to celebrate over the years. He spent the early stage of his youth career at hometown club Taastrup FC on the outskirts of Copenhagen before moving to Brøndby IF as a 12-year-old in 2012.
Lindstrøm went on to make 65 first-team appearances for the club, scoring 15 goals and adding 15 more assists for the club, whilst lifting the 2020/21 Danish title.
Eintracht Frankfurt won the race to Lindstrom's signature on a five-year contract in the summer of 2021. The 5'10" Dane featured in all eight of Die Adler's first eight league games and struck his first Bundesliga goal in the 2-0 win at Freiburg on Matchday 12, sparking a superb spell of form that saw the Dane score four goals and provide three more assists in the final six matches of the Hinrunde.
Lindstrom had to wait until Matchday 24 for his next league strike, but five goals and four assists across 29 league appearances represents a good return for a debut campaign. He also played a significant role in Eintracht's unbeaten Europa League campaign, featuring in nine of their 13 fixtures group stage to final, providing four assists along the way, while also winning the Bundesliga's 2021/22 Rookie of the Season award.

Having earned 14 youth international caps, Lindstrom made his senior international debut in Denmark's 2-0 win over Scandinavian rivals Sweden in November 2020. He has since earned 18 caps for his country, including two at the 2022 World Cup, and scored his first Denmark goal in a 3-1 win over Serbia in March 2022.
After leaving Frankfurt for Napoli in August 2023 he struggled to settle in Serie A and had a loan spell in the Premier League with Everton in 2024/25, prior to joining Wolfsburg for the 2025/26 campaign.
Plays a bit like: Julián Álvarez
"In general I like to play up front but I can also play on the wings," said Lindstrøm when asked to describe his game. "I’ve got a strong shot on me from distance and I like to link up play in the penalty area."
Those are traits shared with Argentina attacker Julián Álvarez, who has a similar frame and burst of pace, combining technical skill, good decision-making and clever movement.
Did you know?
While able to play in attacking midfield, out wide or as a striker, Lindstrøm looks up to players from different positions.
"As a child, I loved Steven Gerrard," he said. "He wasn't the same type of player as me, but I like him as a person. He was a leader who always cared about everyone - someone who hugged the young players and stood by their side.
"When I got older, Neymar came along. Like everyone else, his tricks, his pace, the goals... they were just incredible for me. If you could combine Gerrard and Neymar, it would be perfect."
